Daniel and Me have been friends since kindergarten, we're now in high school, well only me because Daniel's career is getting really big. Today we decided to meet up at Taco Bell to celebrate his new single smile.
"Hey Daniel!" I said once I saw him.
"Hey Y/N! I haven't see you since yesterday." He said while laughing.
"I love your new song!" I squealed.
"Ha! Thanks! And I want you to meet someone special." He said Pulling the girl he was with in his arms.
"Y/N this is Jenna, Jenna this is Y/N." Daniel said.
"Hi, I'm Jenna, Daniel's girlfriend." She said shaking my hand.
My heart drops once she said the word 'girlfriend', maybe I like Daniel. Maybe more than like.
"Y/N? Y/N!" Daniel snap me out of my thoughts.
"Huh?" I said staring at him.
"Anyways, We started hanging out more until I got the chance to ask her out. God I was nervous for nothing!" He said looking at her eyes. They look, really happy.
"Uhm. Yeah. I..I have to go! My mom is waiting for me." I said running off letting the tears fall off my eyes.
*home*
"You're so stupid! Who would think he would like you back?!"
I said screaming at the pillow.
"Y/N?" My mom said at the door.
"What mom?" I said sniffling.
"Can I come in?" She asked.
"Okay but please close the door." I said.
I heard the door close and she sit at the end of the bed.
"Hunny, I know it's hard. I know you like him but please don't cry over a guy." She said rubbing my back.
"But mom, you don't know how much I like him. And the worst thing is, I just figured it out!" I said sniffling.
"Come here baby." She said hugging me, I put my head on her shoulder.
"You're gonna fall in love so many times, before you find the one that is meant to be with you. Just think of this, you're just one broken heart closer to happily ever after." She said hugging me. (I used a wizard of waverly place quote and I'm pretty much proud of it!)
"I guess. I guess I'm just one of those broken hearted people." I said.
"I love you mom." I said
"I love you too munchkin."
*one week later*
One week later, pretty much a lot of eating and meeting people. I haven't seen Daniel Ever since last week. And I have been hanging out with this guy named Harold, and he's gay. And I like how he's so funny and outgoing!
"I'll see you later sis!" He said hugging me.
"Bye Harold!" I said walking off going to my next class.
I sit at my seat when everybody come inside the classroom.
Then ms. Fuentes Walk inside.
"Good afternoon class! Today..."
I zoned off. But still taking notes. I wonder what Daniel is doing right now. Usually I cut classes for Daniel but now I'm here. On ms. Fuentes's class.
"Ms. Y/L/N, what's the answer?" Ms. Fuentes asked me.
"Uhm. I'm sorry ma'am but can you please, repeat the question?" I asked and she nods.
"Is there one-to-one and onto correspondence between integers and rational numbers?" She asked me.
"Uhm.. Uh.. No there isn't." I said.
"And why?"
"There isn't any because Uhm. There is never one unique I-integers for any rational numbers?" I said guessing.
"I guess you're listening. Great job ms. Y/L/N." She said smiling. I don't know that's right.
*skip to end of school*
"Mom. I'm going out with Harold !" I shouted.
"Be back by 9!" She shouted back.
I walk outside only to find Daniel standing.
"Oh, hey Daniel." I said smiling.
"Hi Y/N." He said sadly.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I-I broke up with her." He said.
"You really love her don't you?" I said hugging him but deep inside my heart is jumping up and down.
"No. No I don't. I actually realized this past week. That I like- wait no. Love, I realized that I love someone."he said.
"Oh. Who's the lucky girl?" I asked even tho my heart is hoping its me.
"It's you. I understand if you don't like me that way I mean. You're perfect and you-" I cut him off by kissing him (cooties😂😂)
"I like you since I don't know when. I even got jealous when you told me you have a girlfriend." I said.
"Really?" He asked smiling.
"Really." I said.
"Okay then, Y/N Y/L/N will you make me the happiest man on earth and go out with me?" He said holding my hand.
"I would love too!" I squeal and hug him.
And T'was the day our great relationship starts.
