Chapter 50

Ki's prov

After we got home from the running guy mission, Sasuke was put in the hospital due to the injuries he got. I was called to the Hokage Office, i'm not sure why

I knock on the door and hear a faint come in.

"You wanted to-"

I stop my sentence to see shikamaru and a lot of higher ups around the room.

"I DIDN'T DO IT!" 

I watch everyone in the room sweatdrop and Tsunade chuckles.

"You're not in trouble, but why you're here I don't understand either."

I tilt my head to the side in confusion from the Hokage's words..Wait this is the ep that shikamaru becomes Chunin! That means if i'm here than I am too!

"We were going to not pass anyone this time, but the late Hokage and the others praised you two in the chunin exam."

I let a smile reach my face

"As of now you two are chunin, wear that headband proudly."

Shikamaru looks the same as always.. Lazy *Sweat drop*

The Hokage hands us our Chunin vests, with a smile.

"You're dismissed."

Time skip

"Asuma-Sensei, you really didn't have to include me too."

The smell of Barbeque hitting my nose making me want to chow down.

"This is to celebrate you and Shikamaru becoming Chuunin!"

I nod as he gives me a smile.

After I eat I give my thanks to Asuma and say goodbye to the others and head to the hospital..the fight is going to happen soon.

Once I reach the Hospital I see Sakura and Naruto About to walk into Sasuke room.

"OI!"

"KI"

"Nee-chan"

I run up to them and see then starring at my vest.

"Wait! Your a chunin now!"

They both yell in sync, I chuckle and close my eyes giving a slight nod.

We enter the room together, Sakura with a bag full of apples.

Sasuke is sitting up on his bed, looking all depressed.

"Yo" I say but he doesn't answer, Sakura sits down and starts cutting the apple.

*ink mark*

"You know it's not nice to not answer someone."

I say as I glare at him, Sakura goes to give him the apple.

*crash*

Sasuke throws the plate to the ground making it shatter then starts glaring at Naruto.

"Y-you don't have to glare at me like that.."

Naruto says looking hurt and confused. 

"Fight me"

Sasuke says to Naruto his eyes turning red, showing off his clan's pride.

"I don't care about your feelings, fight me or you to scared."

Ok that crossed the line, I was about to punch him, but Sakura held me back.

The look on my brothers face is pure heartbreak, he puts on a fake smile.

"Fine let's do it." 

Then they start walking up to the roof, me and Sakura follow them. I keep analyzing ways I could make this turn out different, but I keep getting the same outcome.

Once we reach the roof Sasuke and Naruto stand and I can see Naruto's body shaking, he stays he's laughing but I know he's close to tears.

"Sakura stay here I'm going to go get Kakashi"

She nods and I flash to Kakashi, I had given him a Marker kunai for emergencies.

"Kakashi! Naruto and Sasuke are fighting you have to stop them."

He looks back at me with wide eyes, but nods.

We both start running towards the hospital, once we get closer I see Sasuke's Chidori and Naruto's rasengan and sakura running towards them. Kakashi gets there in time to stop them sending them flying into the water tank things. Sasuke's water tank starts flowing water while Naruto has a small hole, but I know his is more power.

I jump over to where a crying Sakura is and try to comfort her.  I hug her and let her cry, I turn around and see Kakashi talking to Pervy-sage both disappointed in their pupils. Kakashi sees the discomfort in my face and comes to help, so I let go of Sakura.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine"

He says with a closed eye, I'm assuming he's smiling, but I really wouldn't know.

Sakura smiles and nods, while I'm having a Inner battle with myself.

I watch as my brother runs off and so does Sasuke each going separate ways.

"Kakashi..What would you do if you had the power to make sure something didn't happen, but it would change the whole world and maybe for the worse."

I say looking down at the ground.

"I would leave it the same, everything happens for a reason."

I nod and walk off leaving the others, and just thinking.

I flash home, I put a marker Kunai in my room so I can get there quick. 

I pull out a scroll and start writing a letter.

Dear Gaara,

You're the only one I can really trust to write everything too. I have a problem, multiple. I know what's going to happen, but if I prevent it the future will change. If my brother ever found out that I didn't do anything to help  he would never forgive me. I want to change this event, but if I do it might make everything worse later on. Please don't mention this to anyone, two days from now you will understand what the event it. I will try my best to stop this, but I will not force it. My destiny is sealed.

I summon a small frog that I don't know and stap the letter to the back and send it on its way.

I flop down on my bed and lay looking at the ceiling. I don't know how many hours have passed, but soon it was dark and the moon was out.  I hear the door open, that must be Naruto.

"Im home!"

"Nii-chan could you come here."

My voice sounds weak and sad, Naruto opens my door and sits on my bed.

"Whats wrong"

"How would you feel if Sasuke left?"

I watch as his blue orbs seem to be in deep thought.

"I would be heartbroken"

I close my eyes and sigh.

"Ok thanks.."

He mumbles a night and goes to bed.

That's it I will not let my brothers heart break, I will stop him.
