Ch. 16

Taylor

College is about to start less than two weeks from now and I'm excited as fuck. Yeah we been graduated from that dumb ass high school like 3 months ago.

"Alex lets go somewhere." I whined.

I am currently laying on her bed at her house. The twins and Dakota is at Damarcus aunts house and Damarcus is at work and so is Bryan so I decided to hang with my bestie today but I just want to go do something.

"Where?" She plopped down next to me.

"I don't know maybe Elitch gardens." I shrugged. Elitch gardens is an amusement park here in Colorado.

"Yeah come on." She got up as I did the same.

We got up grabbing our phone and keys making our way down stairs, And outside.

"Lets take my car." Alex requested. I nodded as we made our way over to her car.

"No I don't want to get on another ride." Alex stopped walking.

Since we been here I made Alex get on hella rides. She scared of roller-coaster but I didn't want to get on any rides by myself.

"Fine." I laughed. "Lets go eat."I turned towards her. "I want a hamburger and after I finish that imma get me one of those big ass pretzels." I rubbed my hands together thinking bout this meal I'm bout to eat. 

"Fat ass." Alex laughed. "Imma get me a pizza and maybe a funnel cake afterwards with some wipe cream and some M&M on top."

"And you call me fat." I laughed pushing her slightly.

"Hey baby girl." Two guys walked up to us. Both brown skin but the first brown skin who spoke had a low tapered curly afro stood about 5'7. He wasn't ugly but I'm also not interested.

Alex got quiet looking down. 'Fuck she getting nervous. She bout to shut down because of her Shyness.'

"Sorry we not interested." I waved them off locking arms with Alex.

"Wait, Wait, Wait!" The other one with defined wave haircut that stood about 5'9 grabbed Alex arm.

I looked at him like he was stupid. Alex tried taking his hand off of her but couldn't.

"Do it look like we wanna stay and have some milk and cookies?" I looked at him like he lost his mind.

"Please." He looked at her and ignoring me all the way.

"We just want to talk." The one that stood about 5'7 spoke. "I'm Caden." He stuck his hand out towards me but I just looked at his hand in disgust. "Playing hard to get, I like." He chuckled.

"And I'm Eli." The one who held onto Alex spoke next.

"I'm Alex but, but..."

"But what?" Eli" Looked at Alex who held her head down.

"I'm not really available, you know." Alex rubbed her hand up and down her arm nervously.

"Yeah I get that. Can we just talk as "Friends"?" He put emphasis on friends.

"I don't think my boyfriend will like that." Alex spoke. "Taylor can we go get some food now?" Alex looked my way. I nodded turning around with her right besides me.

"So your name Taylor." Caden spoke. "Cute" He chuckled.

I shook my head and continued walking.

We are leaving the amusement park and headed back to Alex's house but Alex car is out of gas.

"Yeah I think we gonna have to call a cab since the buses aint running the rest of the night." Alex talked but I was barely listening since I saw the same two fools from earlier. "Tay are you even listen."

"Nahh" I looked at her and she straight faced me. "I'm playing but look there go the same nigga's coming this way." I pointed them out to here. The waved and I turned my attention back to Alex. "Lets leave before they do or something that may put me in jail." I got out of her car.

We walkedas fast as we could so we could be out the amusment park and to the street to wait on the cab I just called.

"Taylor and Alex right?" Caden asked.

"Yeah." I said nonchalant.

"What yall doing the rest of this beautiful night?" Caden asked with a smiled plastered on his face.

"Nun of yo damn bissnuiss." I mugged him.

"We aint here to offend or make yall uncomfrontable." Eli spoke with his hands up.

I nodded and turned my attention back to the street looking it up and down to see if our cab was near. Just then Alex got a text from the cab company telling us they are no longer providing rides for thhe rest of the night.

"Fuck!" I groaned.

"Yall need a ride we can provise it." Eli said.

The buses and cabs not running and Alex car out of gas and my car at Alex house and Damarcus at work and his break was two hours ago and same with Bryan and Damarcus aunt is in no position to drive since her cancer is getting worser and Alex dad is out with his girlfriend. So these two fools is our only hope.

"Taylor they are our last option." Alex whispered to me.

"I know." I gave up on being mean. "Fine, can yall please give us a ride." I looked at them. "Don't try anything and I do mean anything." I pointed at the both of them.

Just hope this ride can go nice and smooth.
