Witches are people who dabble in the acts of dark magic. They are considered evil because of the dark power that courses through them. Even the nicest person can become corrupted by the twisted magic that only witches can call upon. Witches are not born. One can only become one by choice. Countless poor souls have tried to become a witch of good, to use their good will to fight the dark magic's corruption, but once they start using the dark magic it is only a matter of time before it takes hold and changes you for good. Witches are terrible beings who do terrible things. They try to turn other people with the lure of limitless power. They kill hundreds every year. Witches are hunted because they cause so much trouble. Some are trying to hunt witches into extinction and destroy all information on witches so no one ever turns again. But some consider that impossible and only hunt to keep them and their loved ones safe.
