A New Day ( Updated )

 I wake up to see the sun beaming in my eyes. I get up and walk into the kitchen, to see Brooks looking outside. " So you ready to go find Claudia today?" I said. " I am, your staying here." " What?! No! I'm leaving with you all!" I said looking at him. " What happens if you get hurt out there? How could I live with that? and what happens if herd of walkers evade the house its only Wyatt and Scott here, you would have to help." " No she wont." Connor said as he peeks out of the hallway. " Because I will be here, I talked to Luke last night about it." We all look at each other and Brooks says, " I just want you to be safe." as he walks away from the kitchen. "Wow, your brother is something else huh?" Connor said. " He is my brother I love him, but I want to help, you know?" While we talk for a little bit  the rest of the group finally get up. " Ready for today?" Luke asks everyone. " I surely am." Jonah says as he grabs his gun and book bag. We all walk out the house and as we waved Connor, Wyatt, and Scott goodbye, we ask Eli where to look and where to go. " We go back to where I got shot, and head north." "Why north?" Shawn asked. " I heard them talking about it." While we walk and walk we get to the spot where Eli got shot. " This way" Eli said as we walk north. I stepped back to talk to Jonah. " Hey, were going to find her.'' I said looking up at him. " I just don't know if we can fight these people. There bigger stronger and they have her. I just think one of us isn't going to make it." as he looks down. " Don't say that! Okay we will all have each others back." '' Okay". I walk to go talk to Sierra. " So you ready to fight or just talk to them?" " None actually" Sierra said. " I never wanted to fight or do any of this but I guess this is how life is now." She turns her head and talks to Brooks. " Hey, Eli? Are we even clos-" *BOOM* a gunshot occurred.  We all duck down to see that these 5-10 men and woman standing there with... Claudia. " Hey give her back!" Jonah said. I push him back whispering, "Stop, stop". They stare at us with ease and Claudia with fear on her face. " Which one of you suckers is the main leader?" We look around, and Luke said, " I am." One of the unknown men came up to Luke saying, " Would you die for her?'' He looks back at Jonah. He hesitates. '' Yes." The man stepped back. " Okay, I'm Steven, but it wont matter soon." '' Okay what do you want huh?  Why did you take her?!" I ask. " We just need more people. But we don't need her. " He slowly pulls his gun out and I see Jonah and Luke run up to stop him from shooting Claudia. *BOOM* I step back and I lose my mind, I see everything so blurry, I cant hear, I keep stepping back till Shawn grabbed me and took me to the woods. " What's going on?" I whisper. he stutters on the words he doesn't want to say. " He was about to shoot your friend and then Luke turned the gun on that Steven guy and shot him in the face now there having a fight out there." I- I have to go help, my brothers out there." " You cant, you got shot in your right ear." We kept hearing gun shots and Shawn said, " Stay here." He runs off shooting. I laid there in shock. I craw to were I could see, Jonah on the ground and Claudia. I utter my words, "oh my gosh." As I crawled back I can see the blood coming from my ear. I pass out.
