A/N: Hey guys, so I didn't know when to post this extra bit just because it's obviously about one of the more serious, dramatic parts of the series lol. But in reading comments from chapters 22 and 23 some people seem to have maybe not get what exactly happened in between those chapters, specifically why Lauren and Camila had to be punished for it, and stuff like that. It made me regret a little bit not including this, well that and also just because I actually was very proud of my writing in this haha I just didn't know where I would have included it lol. So yea, I decided to just give you guys it now (without really editing it or anything at all) since I'm just feeling good today. Btw I'm going to the concert later in Brooklyn, anyone else gonna be there? Anyways, I'll stop talking, enjoy friends.

Chapter 22 starting from Melody's perspective

Melody was with Chad and Michael the whole night laying low while keeping a watchful eye on Lauren. Melody smirked and shook her head at the way Camila just rejected Lauren who was just trying to help her up. "It looks like we really don't even have to be doing the plan guy," Melody said with a chuckle, "Camila's ruining her relationship for us, I knew she wasn't good for Lauren. Everyone thinks she so nice and innocent but look at her now!"

Chad then looked at her confused, "So does the mean the plan is over?"

"No, dumbass, we're still doing it. I'm just saying, I was right," Melody said with a roll of her eyes.

Michael, now confused, asked, "Right about what?"

"Right about Camila!" Melody said now annoyed, "I swear men are so hot but so dumb at the same time." Melody replied then looked at Lauren who was now in the kitchen talking to Normani then she saw Lauren walk off. "Look!" Melody said as she pointed at Lauren walking up the stairs drawing Chad and Michael's attention, "Time for the plan to be in action," Melody said with a smirk as she got up to follow Lauren up the stairs.

Melody couldn't explain to anyone why she was doing this; was it really to get Lauren back? Is that what she really wanted? Well yes, but the only reason she wants Lauren back is because of pride. That's what Melody felt stripped of the most when Lauren left her, she used to be the most popular girl in school, her and Lauren were a power couple, and not to mention all the girls that were envious of her because of Lauren. In reality, that's all Melody thought of Lauren, as a trophy that she can flaunt.

Melody peeked around the corner of the doorway to the room she saw Lauren walk in just in time to see Lauren go into the bathroom that was in it. Melody smirked to herself as she lightly walked in the room, closing the door behind her, she was being conscious of her actions in order to not alarm Lauren to come out of the bathroom too early.

She lightly sat at the edge of the bed, okay now I just need to think of something to make me cry, Melody thought to herself, searching her mind for anything to produce tears. Finally, Melody thought of the ending of the notebook and her eyes started to water. Just in time too, because then the doorknob started to shake, Melody then cried harder and louder and now into her hands.

Lauren opened the door to see the act, completely puzzled as she didn't expect anyone to be in the room when came out let alone her crying ex, "Melody?"

Melody lifted up her head and was slightly shocked to see Lauren's green eyes were just as puffy as she was, she slightly smiled, "Having a rough night too, I see."

Lauren bit her lip, this situation just seemed too peculiar for her, "Uh, yea, well I gotta go." Lauren then started to walk past her, already having her mind set on returning back to Camila and trying to convince her to go back to the dorm with her.

"Wait!" Melody called out, her eyes beginning to water again, this time it was because she knew this was her last chance, "Please, Lauren, can you just come sit with me?" She asked as tears started rolling down her face, Lauren turned, seeing it all, "I-I just need someone to talk to," Melody said in a desperate voice, "Please."

Lauren sighed, she didn't want to just leave Melody there like that, feeling as if that would make her a shitty person. "Okay," Lauren said as she sat at the other extreme of the bed, against the pillows.

"Thanks," Melody said with a small smile, she slightly chuckled at how far away Lauren sat from her, "I don't have cooties," she said as she crawled up the bed and sat right next to Lauren against the pillows.

Lauren uncomfortably shifted her body, "Melody, you're still my ex, so I can try to help you with whatever's wrong right now but I still have to be mindful of my actions around you. Especially also because I have a girlfriend and I'm going to respect her always."

Melody couldn't hide her annoyance at what Lauren said, she slightly rolled her eye as she turned herself to lay on her side, "Who cares about her, Lauren. Isn't she the reason why you're crying?"

Lauren blankly stared at Melody then looked away, she gulped before replying, "I'm not here to talk about that, I'm here to talk about you and that's it."

"Well, I wanna know what happened to you," Melody replied giving her a sympathetic look, "I saw how drunk Camila was getting tonight."

Lauren's jaw tightened as she remembered how different Camila was tonight, how unlike herself she was, her eyes began to get a little teary in thinking of how rejected Camila made her feel.

Melody reached out to wipe a tear that Lauren let escape from her mouth, "It's okay," she whispered as she got close to Lauren, "I can make you feel better," she said with a smirk as she kissed Lauren's cheek.

Lauren closed her eyes, still thinking about Camila as she essentially was ignoring what Melody was doing. She felt something latch onto her waist and opened her eyes to see Melody on top of her. Lauren was shocked and confused, "Wha-"

"Shh-" Melody said as she put her finger on Lauren's lips and then leaned down to give her a kiss.

Before she could do that, the door swung open, revealing a shocked Camila and Normani. It only took Camila, whose emotions were running really high, a millisecond though to get out of a shock state and immediately charged into the room with fury in her eyes.

Camila was so mad, all she saw was red as she yanked Melody off Lauren and threw her off the bed and onto the floor. Lauren and Normani watched momentarily stunned with their mouths agape as they both would have never thought Camila had the strength for what she just did.

Her body was in a obvious state of fight or flight as she turned a crying Melody around who was already bleeding from her nose, begging Camila to stop. Camila didn't though, she didn't hear or see anything, think about anything, as she continued to punch Melody over and over. "Fuck you, fuck you," Camila said with every punch as her tears rolled down her eyes, "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you."

Lauren and Normani quickly sprung into action as they grabbed Camila and lifted her off of Melody while she was still swinging and crying. Camila finally saw Melody bloody and bruised up face when she was being carried away and it only caused her to sob her more, as her grandma's voice echoed in her head.
