Tommy's pov~~
Was i too harsh? I was only trying to get rid of her. My staff come late all the time. As i browsed through her phone contact list the first person i saw was Alyson. Alyson Wayde. She was on her speed dial. I called her as fast as i could. I explained everything everything to her on the phone .
10 MINUTES LATER~~
"Hey " i heard someone tap me. I cant believe i fell asleep.
"tommy? " she said in amazement. I wasnt sure if ahe was upset or not i couldnt tell. With that fringe covering her face. So i tried to explain everything to her.
"You fired her? Are you crazy?"
"Its not like she hasnt been fired a dozen times already" I said then the look of her face saddened. I knew i shouldn't have said that but, there wasnt any difference. Oh my God is she crying? Why cause i fired her best friend?
"She needed the money for an operation. The only reason she always came late and got tired was because she always went for her 8:00am appointment. She is dying tommy. "
I couldn't hold it seeing her like this. I didn't know . What have i done. Ineed to fix this .
"Im sorry". that was all i could say. We were interrupted when we saw the doctor coming. He didnt look like he was going to say anything good. I still hoped for the best.
"how is she " we both asked as he walked up to us.
"well....." that was all the doctor said .
"Well is she alright? " i asked with my hands squeezing the collar of his shirt.
"No she's not"
