we were on our way back home. it was a long ash ride. "you're hungry babe?" daniel asked looking at the road.
"yeah kinda." i said with my seat back.
"mickey d's? and starbucks?" he asks.
"yeah."
he searched it up on MAPS and placed his phone on top of radio holder. the we pull up to the nearest ones.
we got out of the car and went to mcdonald's first. the cashier said "next" we both walked up to him and daniel started glaring at him.
i shrugged. what is his problem lololol. the cashier smiled odee at me and said "what would you like gorgeous?"
"um" i look at daniel. "i want two mcchickens & medium fries, and an oreo frappe small, thank you." i smiled politely.
"ill have a mcburger with medium fries and a coke thanks." he said plainly.
"ill pay for it babe." i said taking my money out.
"aw the lil boy can't pay himself." the cashier said.
"shut the f*ck up." daniel said getting pissed off.
"danny chill." i whisper in his ear.
his jaw was clenched. i dragged my hand over it and say it lowly unclench. boys man.
"im paying for it." he said in a rude voice. he threw the money on the counter as the cashier laughed his ash off to piss him off even more.
after we waited for a couple minutes, we grabbed our orders and left back to the car.
"you good?" i ask daniel who had the meanest mean mug.
no answer. nice. like i did something.
"daniel." i said calmly. i tried to touch his arm but he slapped it away.

"tttsk. ok. whatever." i plugged in my headphones and started eating my food.
i had the volume all the way up.

i sipped my frappe thinking about the situation. it makes me sad that he's always getting mad at me for no reason.
i shed a tear. i sniffed a cleaned it up. i started texting back my unread messages.
