I slowly got out of the car, I turn back at mom but she wasn't paying attention. My heart was beating out of my chest. Why am I so nervous? It's just high school I told myself. I quickly look around to notice my friend Ariel standing there looking around. She noticed me. We both started walking towards each other.

"Oh my god I thought I would never find someone I knew here!" We managed to make it inside without getting trampled. I looked at my hand, which had my locker number on it. 5-6-2-1-8.

"56218,56218,56218" I kept whispering that to myself. It's not like I'm going to remember it anyways. I shoved my books in my locker.

" What class do you have this morning?" Ariel was so perky.  It was kind of annoying.

" JNG." I closed my locker.

" AWE! I don't have that class till the end of the day! Man that bites! Maybe we will have a class together later. See cya." She started skipping down on hallway. Closing my locker I started down the hallway. Looking at the top of the doors for room ' A2 '. I noticed there wasn't a single soul in the hall. That I knew of. As I started to run up the stairs  I saw a boy standing there looking at me. Ehh, what a weirdo. I ignored it. I looked up 'A2" right there! I ran to the door, and opened it.

" Hello, Ellie. " Mrs. Gale was my grandmother's bestfriend. Everytime I went over there she was there having a cup of coffee, or just simpley chatting about their day.

" Hi.." I was out of breath. I could barley get the words out of my mouth. Noticing a empty table, I jumped at the chance to get it. Looking around I didn't notice a single face in that room. Other than Mrs. Gale.

Finally, the bell rang. All the highschoolers charging  out the doors like a heard of elephants. I grabbed the books from my locker. I noticed that strange boy staring at me again. We locked eyes for about 10 seconds until I turned away. Why is he looking at me? He made me feel insecure  with his glare.  I walked outside the school to find my mothers car. I ran to the car.

"Hey babe, how was your first day of highschool?" I set my books in the back seat.

" Really good." I didn't tell her about the strange boy.  I just brushed it off my shoulder. I just have to forget about it.
