I stepped out of the shower. The steam seeping off the glass. I rapped the towel around me. I let my long dirty blonde hair alone to air dry. I didn't need to rush, I had time. Looking into the mirror I noticed a pimple on my forehead. " Oh god, not a pimple!" I screamed. I hate pimples, why did it have to show up before I was was going somewhere, where it had to be in public? "ARGGG." I huffed.  I squeezed it, nothing came out. The only thing that made it difference was that my forehead was red now. I'll just put make-up on it. I grabbed my outfit I had picked out, a tan skirt, and white blouse. I quickly got dressed. Looking in the mirror I admired how I looked. I grabbed the comb, I pulled it through my tangled hair. My hair was almost dry, it really doesn't take long for my hair to dry. I grabbed the iron and started to do my hair. Doing little pieces at a time, to make sure all my hair is straight. I grabbed a piece of hair and placed it in the iron, but I felt the iron it my skin. " HOLY JESUS, MOTHER FFFFFFFFerrgs." I yelled. Goddamnit didn't that hurt. I looked at my now burnt finger.

" Ell, what are you screaming about?" Greg said from the top of the stairs.

" Oh, nothing.."  I said. I un-plugged the iron. I put some BB cream on my pointer finger, and rubbed it slowly around the red pimple. It didn't really cover it, just now the redness was now a pinkish. I saw my mothers eye-liner on the counter. I pulled my lips to the side. Should I put some on? Will it be to much? I decided to do it. I just put a thin line across my lids. " There" I said under my breath. The clock struck  6:25. Ughh. Why do I have to be so nice? Greg should have just told me no, Ellie you can't go you are just a freshman.

" Ellie come down here for a minute" Greg said, I stood up, looking in the mirror one last time. I sighed and closed my door. I slowly made my way down the stairs to Greg side. " Ell, this is my grandmothers necklace she got when she was your age from her father, then when my mom was your age she gave it to her, my mom gave this to me to give to me daughter. So here it his" Greg said, holding a silver locket in his hands. I smiled.

" Thanks Greg, I have no words. It's so beautiful." I hugged him. He placed the necklace over my neck and latched it together.

" There," Greg smirked. The doorbell rang.

" That must be Elona, and Ariel." I said, swiftly walking towards the door. I opened it.

" Hi Ellie! You look so pretty!" Ariel squeaked.

" Thanks, so do you." I smiled.

" So you ready?" She smiled.

" Yeah, see you later Greg." I waved. I out my lips in a straight line.

" You be home no later than 12:30. You got that?" 12:30 really? Did he just really say that! I was hoping he would say like 9, or 9:30.

" Sure, sure." I closed the door behind me. " Where will this party be held at?" I asked, stepping into the car.

" Louis Tomlinson's house." Ariel closed the door. What? Really? Louis house? Now I really regret saying yes to coming.

" Hey, I'm Elona." Ariels sister introduced herself.

" Hi, I'm Ellie." I half smiled.

" What does Ellie stand for?" Elona asked, she is so front forward.

" Elizabeth. It was a given name to me from my great grandmother." I proudly said.

" Nice," Elona obviously didn't seem to care. She acted like a typical teenager. " So you're 14, aren't you?" She didn't seem impressed.

" Yes, but I'm turning 15 tomorrow." I sat up high.

" Really? Sweet." Elona's voice had a hint of laughter in it. But I tried to ignore it.
