J O S H

"Hello, this is 999 what is your emergency?" A ladies voice rang through the phone. "I have to notify a missing person." "Okay, can I have a full name and age please?" "Simon Minter, age 23," I spoke pausing, everything silent except the clicking of her keyboard on the other line. "Two brothers?" "Yeah." "When did you last see Simon?" "Last night, we went to bed and he was in my arms. This morning he was gone." "You're certain this was no runaway?" I gulped "I'm not entirely sure, but sure enough, not ever did he seem like the guy that would ever runaway." "Sir this is not based on opin-" "and that's a fact. " I snapped, however, I'm sure that he wouldn't do that to me. I'm sure. "We will put it down." Beep.

Everyone around me stared at me. Their eyes viciously burned into my skin from every single direction. I just ran away to the bedroom I used to call ours. I laid down on the bed, tears spilling until eventually, sleep took over cuddling this pillow.

Simon cried and kicked his legs. Cloth over his mouth and rope around his wrists. Blood-curdling screams came out muffled due to the material blocking the sound. Crimson blood slowly falling down the left side of his face from the cut above his eyebrow. Dirt covered his pale face and his eyes glowed a dark red from the tears.

I sat up quickly, panting and sweating. Did I just have a bad dream? Or a vision. I have no clue. My first reaction is to call my mum. She can help me, she always has and always will do. That's what she's there for. To help me and care for me, despite the lack of love from my currently missing boyfriend. I pulled my phone off the bedside table and called the woman who could save me a lot of stress. "Hello?" Her voice rang through the phone, soft as ever. "Mum." I spoke shakily "Yes hon?" I could hear her concern in her voice as I spoke "I had a vision." It came out blunt. "Of what?" She questioned, "Simon, he's been kidnapped." "Oh god." She spoke "Are you sure it's real?" "I'm certain, I was cuddling his pillow that means I made a connection with him right?" "Not always, hunny are you sure you weren't dreaming it, your absolutely sure it was a vision.." "Well.." "Don't worry I'll come round next week,  okay, just don't stress yourself out." "Okay, mum." "Bye Josh." "Bye."

I was about to go back to sleep but Vik's tv was far too loud for that. I pulled myself up and over to his room. "Hey, Vik, can you turn that down-" something caught my eye on the Telly "sure dude." "No no no turn it up!" I yelled sitting down on the bed next to him making him draw attention to the screen also. "A new missing person report of 23-year-old Simon Minter who is a popular youtuber and webstar under the title 'miniminter'. He was last seen in his home along with the rest of the 'Sidemen' going to bed and had disappeared during the night. Police have traced his movements to a nearby park where there are no signs for where he went from then. However, blood traces from the stairs to the edge of the pavement, meaning Simon at some point was transported in a car." His rather beautiful photo appeared on the screen. "Many fans, friends and family are devastated about the disappearance and would appreciate your help if you see this person please call the police immediately."

"Shit." I gasped "Blood traces." Before I had time to think I was out of Vik's room and sliding on my shoes. For some reason I ran to the park, I didn't want to go, I didn't want to see the blood of my boyfriend over the steps yet I still went there. Ran there. By the time I got there I saw ribbons of yellow tape cutting off the entrance to the bandstand.

Everyone was at the lake, the whole squad. The Sidemen, Calfreezy, Callux, Weller and a couple more. All of them jumped into the lake except for Simon, Anxiety washed over his face. I noticed this and climbed out sitting beside him on the bandstand and as his boyfriend, I wouldn't just leave him. "Si? What's up?" I asked wrapping an arm around his shoulders pulling him in so his head rested on my chest. "The water.." He mumbled, "Remember last time." He sighed. I remember him being pushed in by Weller last year but obviously Joe is pretty rough and mentioning Simon to be pretty delicate. Simon was pushed under with force, he was so far down that swimming up seemed to far to even reach alive. I wasn't there, however, I was told JJ saved his life. "When you got pushed under by Weller?" "Yeah."

"It was accidental, no one is going to touch you in that water except for me." I ensured, using my hand to push up his chin. His beautiful bright blue eyes stared into mine, my hands ran over his soft pale skin. "Promise?" "Promise." I pulled him up onto his feet and led him over to the lake. Both of us stood toes aimlessly dangling over the edge. "Ready?" He nodded "3... 2... 1..." And I could no longer feel the ground below my feet.

I smirked at the fond memory, it was by far a good one. By the end, Simon was practically flipping into the pool which of course made me proud. Proud. What a feeling. Recently all I felt was sadness, anger and loss, I miss the feeling of being proud and happy. Instead, I walked home with pain striking though my heart and feel asleep with sorrow swirling in my head developing from thoughts of the love of my life. The love of my life who can't sleep next to me in our own bed.
