When Octavian arrived at Camp Half Blood, he expected that he would be ambushed, not humiliated.
He marched his Roman troops into New York with the intention of destruction. They marched through the city and as usual, people didn't pay them any attention. They probably looked like a bunch of kids from a military school taking a casual march through the city.
After a marching for hours, people started complaining.
"My feet hurt!" He heard from someone in the crowd, but couldn't pinpoint who it was.
"I'm tired!"
"I want to rest!" Octavian heard more complaints and he just responded by saying that they should just suck it up and keep marching.
After more complaints and marching, they finally reached Half-Blood hill and the Greek forces were waiting for them. A redheaded girl steps foward and the Romans immediately bring out their swords.
"Woah, woah, " she says putting her hands up, "I don't have a weapon." The troops lower their swords about an inch but no more. "We don't want to fight."
"Well we do!" a voice says from the crowd somewhere and the Romans let out cheers of agreement.
"How about you come to camp and we can talk about this over dinner? You can bring your weapons if that makes you feel better." A faun-erm, satyr emerges from behind the redhead and tugs on her sleeve. He gives her a little warning grunt while motioning to the Roman's weapons.
"um Rachel, I don't think that's the best idea," he mutters under his breath, but he was loud enough for everyone to hear since everybody else was silent. Rachel rolls her eyes.
"I got this Grover," she mutters back and then turns to the Romans. "Only use the weapons for defense please," she says in a slightly louder voice. Grover lets out a exasperated sigh and looks as if he's about to faint.
"Why should we trust you?" another voice called from the crowd.
"Because we promise on the River of Styx that we will not harm you." The Romans hesitate; their weapons wavering. Reyna steps forward and then turns to Octavian.
"I believe them," she says monotonically. Octavian's mouth drops open.
"Reyna-" Octavian starts, but is soon cut off as Reyna puts her hand up.
"I am praetor and I believe them. We go to their camp to talk. Now," Reyna adds a hint of warning to her voice.
"Fine," Octavian grumbles, "But I don't think this is a good idea. If something goes wrong, this is all on you Reyna."
Her eyes flash and Octavian immediately backs down.
"If something goes wrong, we'll all be dead before blame is placed." With that, she orders the troops to march over Half-Blood Hill and to camp.

"Octavian," a voice says. Octavian looks up from picking at his food to see Reyna looking at him with a hint of concern; subtle yes, but it was still there. "You should eat something."
"Are you sure it isn't poisoned?" Octavian growls and Reyna gives him a look of disapproval.
"I don't believe they are dangerous. If they were, we would be dead already." Reyna gets up and saunters over to another table.
As she leaves, a girl wearing more pieces of jewelry Octavian could count approaches him. She gracefully takes a seat before him with two other girls standing behind her with their hands on their hips glaring at him. She flips her perfect hair and evilly grins at Octavian.
"Octavian, right?" she says in a fake-sweet tone. Octavian jabs his food with his fork while glaring back and then stuffs the food in his mouth.
"Why do you care?" he says with his mouth full. The girl straightens her back and then looks from side to side at each girl and they both nod.
"Do it Drew," one of them says trying not to giggle. Drew whips her head back towards Octavian and puts her elbows on the table.
"You see that girl over there hon?" she says as she motions to a buff girl shoving some mashed potatoes down another camper's shirt.
"Yeah," Octavian grumbles, "What about her?"
"Go flirt with her." As soon as the words left her lips, Octavian immediately felt something wash over him. Suddenly he has the urge to go over to the scary girl and say some cheesy pick up lines or ask her to dinner; he has no clue why though. He is honestly terrified of her.
Before he knew it, his legs swing around and pull him off his seat and then he starts marching towards the girl. As soon as he approaches her, she stops and glares at him; her plate about to tilt down a poor guy's collar.
"Hey, what's your name?" he says while winking. Inside he is screaming for himself to stop, but for some reason he can't. The girl growls and throws down the plate; the guy who she was bullying immediately scampers away.
"Did you just wink at me?" she says with her teeth clenched.
"Calm down beautiful," Octavian yells in his mind to shut up, but of course, his mouth won't listen for some reason, "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" He feels pain shoot through his face as her fist impacted with it.
"Did it hurt when I punched you in the face?" she says mimicking his voice. Octavian holds the side of his face and tastes a rusty liquid in his mouth. He glances up to see Drew giving him a smug look as people all around her howl with laughter. His face turns bright red.
Point one: Drew.
