    So I've had this short story written since the last quarter of this past school year, but I haven't gotten around to publishing it on here until now.
    
                          
    Most of this story is based off of real life events, my great-grandmothers life to be exact. For obvious reasons, the ending did not happen in real life, seeing as how I'm here writing this to you now.
    
                          
    I felt very proud of my work once I was finished writing this story, and I got a 99/100 on the paper. I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
