"See everybody tomorrow", Ms.Mendoza said

She's my 3rd period History teacher, and my favorite.

I stood up and grabbed my bag and started walking out.

"Wait hold on. Yn, come here please"

I turned around and walked to her desk.

"Yes?"

"I have a couple students in my 4th period class who are failing and need extra help. Would you like to help some students for extra credit?"

"I already have a A plus, how can I earn more credits?"

"It can be used for college credits when you graduate next year"

"Uhh...sure"

"Great! Thank you. The students are in this class right now, you mind staying to see if they would like to work with you?"

"I'll get a pass to my next class right?"

"Yes"

"Alright"

I stood by her desk watching all the kids walk in. Once the bell rang, she started calling students to where we were.

"Claire, Shaun, Lucas, Misty, and Wayne, come here please", Ms.Mendoza said

Did she just say Lucas?

I didn't see him come up to the desk, so I guess I was Trippin.

"Would you guys like to get extra help by working with Yn?"

"Of course"

He winked at me and bit his lip.

"Shaun this isn't for jokes, this is serious", Ms.Mendoza said

"I'm being serious", he said looking at me

I raised my eyebrow then looked back at Ms.Mendoza.

"I'll work with her too. Maybe this lil cutie can teach me somethin"

"If you guys are gonna flirt with Yn, I'll get a boy to tutor you guys", Ms.Mendoza said

"Nah Nah, I'm cool", Shaun said

"I'll work with her"

"Thank you Claire, what about you Misty?"

"Yeah", Misty said

"Alright, what days are you free to tutor them Yn?"

"I'm free Monday's and Thursday's"

"Alright, Wayne, Shaun, and Lucas will work with you Monday, and Claire and Misty will work with you Thursday"

"Wait who will I be working with today?"

"Wayne, Shaun, and Lucas...wait where's Lucas?"

"HE'S LATE AGAIN"

"Okay well I'll talk to Lucas lat--"

As soon as she said that, the door swung open and Lucas walked in. I hung my head low and sighed.

"Lucas come here", Ms.Mendoza said

Lucas walked up to the desk and crossed his arms.

"Why are you late?"
