My alarm went off at 6:25 am and I instantly turned it off. It was too loud and I was still tired. I reached under my pillow and grabbed my phone. I opened up the Instagram app and started scrolling down my timeline. I seen Shaun post a picture about today being "Game day".

I continued scrolling for another 2 minutes then got off my phone to get ready for school.

"Dj", i said knocking on his door
He opened the door and looked at my outfit then back at me.
"Your wearing Shaun Jackson's jersey?"
"How do you know him?", I said
"Everyone knows him. He's one of the best football players on our school team"
"Oh well, then yeah I am obviously"
"You know he's a senior?"
"Mhm", i said nodding. "Are you riding with me?"
"Yeah, who else would I ride with? Mom and dad leave to early so your my only choice"
"Don't get smart with me little boy", I said grabbing my keys
I walked out to the car with Dj following me. I started to pull out the driveway when I got a notification on my phone.

I looked down at my phone and smiled.
"Can you drive before we're late to school?", Dj said
I looked at him and hit the back of his head.
"Ow", he said moving away
"Don't tell me what to do. This is my car"
"Ok whatever"
I drove out the driveway and started driving to school. When we got there he got out the car, and I waited in my car until Asia texted me saying she was here.
