The armies clashed and arrows flew. Both sides had lost thousands of men. But the fighting was relentless. The ice covered lakes around the battlefield were tinted red by the blood of the fallen. Nico had also begun to break through the circle that protected Doran.
"To the middle, its where their the weakest." shouted Nico
The troops did as he said and focused their attention to the middle of the line. Swords clashed and spears were thrown. Until finally after hours of work, they broke the perimeter.
"Go find the king tell him that we are ready for him to end this." Nico ordered a nearby solider.
But as the soldier ran towards Timothy who was fighting a few dozen yards away, Doran ordered his wizards to come and join the fight. Out from the circle dozens of men began to cast spells and incantations towards the opposing army.
"Get to the Wizards and stop them, their to powerful, we won't be able to get to Doran with them here." ordered Nico
His troops dispersed into the area to begin the slaughter. As they did, an old man appeared out of nowhere in front of Nico and cast a bright and blinding light towards him.

As Timothy fought his way through the mass of fighting soldiers and dead men, he set his eyes on Nico. Then suddenly Nico was thrown high into the air like a rock from a slingshot. Timothy saw what was his friend fall into a small frozen lake like a plane.
"Go find Doran and capture him. Ill deal with him later." Timothy commanded a nearby warrior.
"But sir, Doran needs to die, you have to kill him." replied the soldier.
"And he will, but not here, not now."
"But sir, You....."
"Enough! You will do as I say or mark my words ill make you wish you were dead." replied Timothy with a serious look of command on his face.
Timothy didn't wait for a response. He fought his way through the battle field in search of the lake in which Nico had fell. As he was decapitating an oncoming soldier he spotted a lake with a large hole in the middle of the ice layer on top of its surface. This part of the battle field was less dense than most. He made his way almost unopposed to the lake. Timothy un mounted his horse and dove into the lake through the hole in the ice.
-------------------------------------------------------
Nico felt his body fly into the sky. His ears roared with the sound of the wind. It felt amazing, and I looked even better. He could see the snow covered mountains to the far east. He could see the entire battlefield from this high. Then everything went to hell. He felt his body change momentum as he raced down the ground faster as he'd ever seen anything fall. He looked down to the ground where he would land and saw a lake covered in ice. This is when hell itself, went to hell. He hit the rock hard ice like a train. Not only breaking through the ice but his bones as well. The water was the coldest he had ever felt. He tried to swim up but his broken body would only allow him to sink deeper into the dark void below him. He felt the air leave his lungs. He raised his bleeding head up and saw only a small remanente of the sunlight above him. He knew then that he would die, and oddly, he was okay with that. But someone else wasn't. Just as Nico shut his eyes and his longs filled with the icy cold water of the lake, a hand grabbed him by the waist and started pulling him up.
-------------------------------------------------------
As Timothy pulled Nico up through the icy water he began to feel light headed and more and more cold. The water was like billions of little needles pushing through every but of flesh on his chilled bones. After what felt like an eternity Timothy reached the hole in the ice and threw Nico onto the icy surface. Nico wasn't moving, but he was still somehow, miraculously breathing. Timothy crawled out of the lake and moved towards Nico's bloody body to begin tend to his wounds. But as he did he felt a hand spin him around, and as he did he felt chills go up his spine. He turned to see Doran himself standing before him, sword in hand. Timothy moved fast to grab his own sword but Doran was faster. He jabbed his blade into the cold flesh of Timothy's chest and held it there.
"I certainly didn't expect taking over your kingdom to be this easy. You should have known better than to oppose me." said Doran with a wicked grin on his face as he held his sword still in the chest of Timothy.
Timothy felt nothing, thought nothing, said nothing. Finally Doran released his sword from Timothy's chest and watched as he fell to his knees. Grabbing at the open wound in his chest Timothy coughed up blood. He laid there on the icy lake, unable to move or do anything until finally his vision blackened and his mind went blank.
