Apparently, I was brilliant. And when Jesse told me, it took all of my power to not laugh at him.
We had been sitting for hours, attempting to come up with a solution as to how and where to hide the key. The idea came to me out of the blue as I played with my mother's locket that hung around my neck. Inside was a portrait of Mother and Father on their wedding day. I barely took it off, being one of the few things I had left of hers.
So why not use it as the way to find the key?
