Adrienette: Bestfriend

First Meeting

Marinette was celebrating her 8th birthday. Her birthday was simple, her dad baked 2-layered cake and wrote "Joyeux 8ème Anniversaire Marinette!" (Happy 8th Birthday Marinette!) and her mom baked cookies. Marinette was enjoying her birthday though it was simple but fun. She played pillow fight, watched movies and of course, played Ultimate Mecha Strike III with her father. After those events, her mother prepared the cake and lighted the candle.

"Happy Birthday Mari!" her parents said together.

"Thank you!" said Marinette.

"Go on, make a wish then blow your candle." said her mother.

She wished that she will have good luck in the future and continue to be a good influence to others. Marinette blew the candle and her parents clapped their hands. They were eating until their stomachs were filled with goodies.

On the other hand, Adrien was watching at the beautiful sunny afternoon. Then later on, he went into his bed and laid down on his bed. Adrien wished he had friends to play with and be able to go to school like other children. Adrien closed his eyes and began to fall asleep.

On the next day, Adrien decided to go outside without being caught. He got up and went to the secret passageway going out. Adrien went to the park because he loved the fresh wind and the view. He also wanted to go to meet other people and make friends. Adrien sat down on the bench and watched the little children play.

On the other hand, Marinette also went to the park to meet up with her friends. When she was there, she saw her friends playing. Marinette and her friends had fun while Adrien just watched them and wished he could play with them.

When Marinette and her friends decided to play frisbee, Marinette threw the frisbee to her friend but it went to Adrien instead. Adrien's head was hit by the frisbee and soon he felt dizzy. Marinette and her friends approached him to where he was staying and make sure he was alright.

"Are you okay? I am really sorry! I didn't mean to do that." said Marinette hoping that he would forgive her.

"Yeah I'm okay just a little dizzy." He said while touching his head.

"I am really sorry! I just wanted to play with my friends." said Marinette.

"You are forgiven." said Adrien.

Marinette and her friends were about to play again but Marinette felt bad for Adrien. She decided to return the favor.

"Um......would you like to join us?" Marinette asked.

Adrien's face lit up knowing he could finally play and make friends.

"O-of course. Why not?" said Adrien.

They were having so much fun. They played frisbee and hide and seek. In the middle of their fun, Marinette noticed that he doesn't know the boy's name so she asked him.

"Hey what's your name?" Marinette asked.

"Adrien, Adrien Agreste.What's yours?" asked Adrien.

"It's Marinette. You can call me Mari for short." said Marinette.

"What a beautiful name." said Adrien.

"As so was yours." said Marinette.

They smiled at each other until a car appeared at the park.

"Adrien! Thank goodness you were just here! I've been searching everywhere for you!" said Nathalie.

"I was just here playing with my friends." said Adrien.

"Adrien it's getting late let's go home." said Adrien.

Adrien felt blue. He doesn't want to go home yet because he wanted to play with his friends but he had no other choice.

"It's nice to meet you Adrien." said Marinette also feeling blue.

"Will we ever see each other again?" Adrien asked.

"Adrien let's go home." said Nathalie.

Adrien went inside the car and looked at Marinette one last time.

Marinette and her friends also watched Adrien's car until it was out of view. She and her friends went home sadly. When Marinette arrived at her house, she saw her parents preparing for dinner.

"Marinette there you are! How was it at the park?" Her mom asked.

"It was fun, although I met a new friend." said Marinette.

"Okay you can tell us about it in dinner for now you have to take a rest." said her mom.

Marinette nodded and went to her room. She was wondering if she could see Adrien again, she was wondering if she could play with him again. She missed him even if they just met hours ago. Her thoughts were interupted by her mom.

'Marinette! Food is ready!." said her mom.

"Okay mom! Coming!" she said.

She went downstairs and ate dinner with her parents. She also told them about Adrien, on how they met and how they became friends.

On the other hand, Adrien went home with his father scolding him.

"Why did you go to the park?" asked his father.

"Father I just wanted to make new friends than being stuck at home." said Adrien.

"Well,you are not going to the park ever again!" said his father.

Adrien went to his room sadly and wished he could see them again. Adrien never had friends before and he never felt this way before. Adrien closed his little eyes and fell asleep.

The next day, Marinette decided to go to the park to meet up with her friends and at the same time, Adrien.When she was there, she didn't see Adrien but instead played without him. Same goes to the next day, he was wasn't there.

From that day on, they never saw each other again.
