Marinette's POV
It's been months since our relationship with Nathaneal started. I barely talked to Adrien. I guess I should spend time with him.

Adrien's POV
It's been for months already and Marinette is still with that Nathaneal guy. I barely even talked to her. I guess I am hopeless and there's nothing we could do about it. If Marinette is happy then I am happy (maybe).

One day I was going to school, Marinette went near me.

"Hey Adrien!" she said with a smile.

"Hey! What's up?" I asked.

"Uhhhh...the sky?" she said and we both burst out to laughter.

"Anyway, I was wondering if you could go to the park?" she asked.

Did she just asked me to go to the park? I didn't expect for this to happen.

"Yeah, why not?" I said.

"Great! After class?" she asked.

"Sure!" I said.

We both went together in class. When I went in class, I saw Nathaneal glaring at me. I ignored him. When class was over, I went to the park with Marinette. We bought ice-cream, and of course, talked.

After an hour, perhaps, I walked with her going to her house. As soon as we've arrived, I could smell newly fresh-baked croissants. I guess my stomach is grumbling.

"Looks like someone is hungry." said Marinette.

She gave me croissants and thanked her. Few moments, I head back home and did my homework. Then I fell asleep.

Marinette's POV
I woke up by the noise of my alarm. I prepared my stuff and head off to school. When I arrived, I saw Nathaneal holding hands with another girl, they are probably relatives.

As soon as class was over, I saw Nathaneal going with that girl. I followed them sneakily from behind. They were talking. At the middle of their conversation, I saw them kissing I smiled knowing that I wasnt the right girl for him. This was also my chance to go back to Adrien. I stepped forward making them see I was right in front of them.

"Marinette I could explain-"

"No you don't have to Nathaneal. I am happy that you found another girl better than me." I said giving him a smile.

"But, Marinette-"

"It's alright Nathaneal, I forgive you." I said then went all my way to the bakery. On my way, tears began streaming down at my face. Why was I crying? I didn't have feelings for Nathaneal from the very beginning.

Adrien's POV
I saw Marinette crying, what could have happened to her? I followed her and went into the bakery.

"Hey Adrien! Looking for Marinette?" said Sabine.

"Yes, would you mind telling me where she is?" I asked.

"She is there upstairs." said Sabine.

I nodded and went upstairs.

"Marinette?" I said while knocking at her door. I heard her sobbing so I opened the door.

"Marinette, what happened?" I asked.

"No, it's just that I am happy for Nathaneal." she smiled weakly.

"Don't tell me he did-"

"Yes, he did Adrien and I am happy for that." she said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because he finally found a girl better than me. He doesn't deserve me from the top." she said with more tears streaming down at her face.

I hugged her and felt tears falling on my shoulder.

"You know Marinette, Nathaneal isn't the right guy for you. There are a lot of guys out there and I'm sure one of them is the right one for you. Don't go to that tomato head again because he was just playing with your heart." I said trying to comfort her.

She broke the hug and smiled at me. I also smiled at her back.

We began to talk to lighten up her mood. Soon it was already sunset, the time for me to go home. I didn't care since Marinette is really in a bad state right now. I have to comfort her and do anything that makes her happy.

"You know what Adrien, you are really a great friend to me. You've been comforting me when I am down and supporting me with anything," she began leaning on me. "Thank you for being always in my side, Adrien."

"Anything." I said.

Marinette and I watched the sun sets. Even if I would've been home by now, I don't want to ruin the moment. I want to stay and not leave her, not just yet.
