See You Again

Time skip 5 years after..........

Ever since Marinette left Adrien, his life went back to darkness. Marinette was the light of his life. Ever since Marinette came into his life, his life got brighter and stronger.

Adrien missed Marinette so much. He haven't seen her for years. He still has the Yin part of the necklace. He's been wearing it everyday to remember Marinette and their adventures.

Marinette on the other hand missed him too. She's been wearing the Yang part of the necklace everday ever since she arrived in China.

She was ready to go back to France. She already have her things packed.

"Ready to go?" asked Sabine.

"I sure am." Marinette replied excitedly.

Marinette finally arrived in France. She stepped out of the plane and looked at her surroundings. She missed everything in France and everything that she saw seemed so nostalgic. She smiled and looked at her necklace remembering the boy that she met 5 years ago.

"Hey I am back." she thought.

Adrien on the other hand was preparing his stuff for school. The first day of school is the day after. While he was preparing, a picture fell from his notebook. He picked it up and saw a picture of him and Marinette doing their silly faces.

"Where are you? I hope you are okay." Adrien thought and smiled at the picture.

Adrien's POV
First day of school already, great. I prepared my stuff and went to school. When I arrived, I saw Alya and Nino chatting so I went to them.

"Hey Nino, Alya." I said.

"Hey bro." said Nino giving me a fist pump.

"Guys, I have news."said Alya.

"What news?" I asked.

"I heard that there is going to be a new student." said Alya.

The bell then rang.

"I guess it's time to go to class." I said.

They nodded and we went to class.

"Good morning class. Today you are going to meet your new classmate." said Ms. Bustier.

Then a familiar looking girl went in. I guess I've seen her before.

"H-hey." she said shyly.

"Please sit beside Alya." said Ms. Bustier pointing at the seat behind me.

She nodded and sat down next to Alya. That girl, I felt like I know her before. Her dark hair and bluebelle eyes, I saw those before.

As soon as class ended, Alya, Nino and I decided to eat lunch. We were walking towards the cafeteria but in the middle of nowhere, mother nature called me.(A/N:I guess y'all know what that means XD)

"Umm, guys I need to go to the restroom. Catch up with you later." I said.

They exchanged glances then nodded in agreement.

I went all my way to the restroom until I accidentally bumped into the new girl.

"Sorry! Here let me help you." I said.

I helped her get her book. I stood up giving her a hand. She accepted it looking away from me.

"Here." I said handing her the books.

She slowly took it from me and smiled at me.

"Thanks." she said.

"No problem." I said giving her a smile.

Then I saw necklace that she wore. It was like the necklace I gave to Marinette. Wait....Could it be....

Flashback.....
"Here.." said I handing the necklace to Marinette.

"Thank you." said Marinette and admired the beauty of the necklace. 

"I will have the other part of this necklace." I said and wore the necklace.

"In this way, we won't forget each other." said Marinette.

End of flashback.......

"Marinette?" I said.

"How did you know my-"

She was interupted when she noticed the necklace that I was wearing.

Marinette's POV
I saw him wore a familiar looking necklace. It was like Adrien's necklace. That's when I know...

Flashback.......
"Here.." he said handing the necklace to me

"Thank you." I said and admired the beauty of the necklace. 

"I will have the other part of this necklace."  he said and wore the necklace.

"In this way, we won't forget each other." I said.

End of flashback....

"Adrien? Is that you?" I asked.

He gave me a hug.

"I can't believe it! Oh, I missed you." he said.

"I missed you too. Oh look at you, you've changed. You are so tall. The last time I saw you was that you were shorter than me like an inch." I said.

He just smiled. I am so happy! I was able to see Adrien again.

"Well, if you don't mind, would you join me eating our lunch?" he asked.

"Of course! Why not." I said.

Then he held my hand. I felt a slight blush on my cheeks. Soon, we have arrived at the cafeteria. He brought me at the table with 2 people. It's probably his friends.

"Well, well look what he brought here." said Alya in a teasy tone.

I felt my cheeks are burning. He realized he was holding my hand the whole time so he held it off.

"Well, she is my friend, Marinette." he said.

"Since when have you been friends?" asked Nino.

"When we were 8." I said.

"Adrien you never told us about your old friend." said Alya.

Then we talked about our friendship with Adrien. How it started, and how we got along. Then Alya noticed our friendship necklace.

"Hey nice necklaces you've got there." said Alya.

"Thanks!" Adrien and I said it together.

"Hey you two have been really good friends." said Nino.

"Yeah we are." I said smiling at Adrien.

Adrien's POV
Marinette was smiling at me. Her smile warmed my heart. I smiled at her back. I had feelings for her ever since we became friends. I just don't have the guts to confess to her because she will hate me. She only sees me as a friend. For me, she is more than a friend.
