Soon, Marinette and Adrien were 10 but still great friends. That was until one day.......
"Marinette, sweetie we have great news!" said the mom of Marinette.
"What is it?" asked Marinette.
"We are going to China!" said the mother of Marinette.
Marinette didn't like the sound of this.
"When are we going to China?" asked Marinette.
"Two weeks from now." said the mom Marinette.
Marinette went upstairs to her room. She didn't like going to China. She is going to miss everything, her school, her friends and Adrien. She is not ready to leave France yet. She had no choice but to follow what her parents say.
The next day, Marinette and Adrien met at the park. They were playing until Marinette remembered she is moving.
"Hey are you okay?" Adrien asked.
"Adrien, I am going to China two weeks from now." said Marinette.
Adrien didn't like the sound of this too. He is going to miss Marinette. He gave her a warm hug.
"I'm going to miss you." said Adrien.
"I'm going to miss you too." Marinette replied.
Two weeks have already passed and it's time for Marinette to go. She already have her things packed. She wanted to see Adrien for one last time but she couldn't. All she could do is wear the necklace that Adrien gave her.
Adrien on the other hand just stared at his necklace. He was going to miss Marinette. He wanted to say goodbye to her but he can't.
They were sad that they won't be able to see each other 5 years. But in their hearts, they will find each other in the future.
