Gym Class

Marinette's P.O.V

Today, my class is having our first P.E. class of the year. Being Ladybug means I'm physically fit enough to obtain good grades in P.E. However, it also means people can put the pieces together, and figure me out. I didn't want that to happen so I asked my kwami, Tikki, for help. I can always count on her to give me the best advice.

"Tikki, what am I supposed to do? I don't want my identity revealed, but I can't afford to fail a class." I panicked.

"Well Marinette, how about you just go in the middle? You do what you need to do to pass, but don't overdo it so they won't suspect anything." Tikki advises me. That was actually a really good plan.

"Thanks Tikki! I owe you some cookies once we get back home. I'll see you later!" I say while Tikki hides in my locker.

Third person P.O.V.

When Marinette got to the gym, she sat next to Alya as coach entered the gym. Coach blew his whistle to get everyone's attention. When everyone was staring at coach he explained what they were going to do.

"Alright everybody first we're going to run two mile laps, so everyone onto the field!" Coach yelled. Everyone got up and headed to the field.

Once they arrived, everyone started lining up at the starting line. Marinette can hear Chloe talking to Sabrina next to her.

"Marinette's the clumsiest person at this school. I bet she's gonna be the last one done because she'll be tripping over her own feet instead of running!" Chloe laughed. Marinette started to get mad.

'No, I won't be last you'll see Chloe I'll be the first one to finish. I won't let you bully me this time,' Marinette thought. Then coach blew his whistle, signaling everyone to start running. At first, everyone was in one big group, then they all started separating. In the front are Marinette, Alix, Kim, and Adrien. At the back were Sabrina, Nathaniel, Max, Juleka, and Rose. In the middle were Alya, Nino, Ivan, Chloe, and Mylene.

After one mile Adrien and Marinette were in front of everyone else. They both wanted to be first place, so they picked up the pace. Adrien and Marinette were both one lap away from finishing the two mile run. It was a close call, but Marinette finished right before Adrien did. After a few more minutes, Alya finished and came up to Marinette extremely exhausted.

"Girl, I've *huff* never seen *huff* you run *huff* like that." Alya said, exhausted, "You dont *huff* even look like *huff* you're tired." Marinette giggled at her. Chloe was the last one to finish because she didn't want to start sweating. She said it would make her makeup run down her face.

"Look at who's the last one to finish." Marinette said to her.

"Hmfp!" She said stomping away angrily. Soon, everyone was back in the gym.

"Okay everyone find a place on the floor, and make sure you have a lot of space around you!" Coach yelled. Marinette found a place next to her friends.

"Okay, today we're going to test your flexibility. Start with a simple splits." Coach said. Marinette managed to do a perfect split, and so did Adrien. Some other students managed to do the splits, too, while the rest couldn't.

"Dude, doesn't that hurt?" Nino asked while trying to do the splits, but failing.

"No? Not really." Adrien answered in confusion, not knowing why Nino was so surprised.

"Girl, how are you doing that!" Alya asked in a half split with one of her legs straight and the other bent.

"I'm actually pretty flexible." Marinette answered back. She couldn't help herself, so she lowered her torso and did a pancake.

After Coach got all their information down, he noticed there was still a lot of time before the bell. He decided that his students can play some dodgeball to pass the time.

"Okay everybody, there's still some time left, so let's play some dodgeball. Alix and Kim are team captains." Coach announced.

"Yes!"

"Yay, thanks, Coach!"

"I don't feel like getting pummeled by rubber balls today..."

After choosing their teams, Kim's team consisted of Adrien, Nino, Ivan, Chloe, Sabrina, and Max. Alix's team consisted of Alya, Nathaniel, Mylene, Rose, Juleka, and Marinette.

The game started, and everyone dashed towards the center to try and get some ammo before they're all gone.

Sabrina was the first one out because Chloe used her as a human shield when Alya aimed for her. Max was next because he couldn't dodge fast enough, no matter how many times Kim tried to pull him out of the way. Nathaniel was eliminated when he took a dodgeball in the back for Juleka. Ivan was taken out because he was a big target. Kim noticed that his team was being taken out, so he eliminated both Rose and Juleka.

"My nail polish is chipped!"

Mylene quickly took the opportunity to take Chloe out while she was distracted.

"Good one Mylene!"

Kim threw a ball at Mylene, hoping to hit her while she was celebrating, but Alix saw this and shoved her out of the way. Unfortunately, Alix was hit with the ball. Now, the only players remains were Kim, Nino, and Adrien on one side, and Mylene, Alya, and Marinette on the other.

Kim threw two balls at Mylene. She managed to dodge one, but was hit with the other. Kim whooped in delight, but didn't notice the ball heading his way. His celebration was cut short as he was hit by Marinette's ball.

The four friends stared at each other as each of them had a ball in hand. Then all at once, they threw them. Alya and Nino were hit, but Adrien and Marinette managed to dodge. As their friends trudged off the court, they stared each other down.

"I'm sorry Marinette, but I have to take you out so my team can win!" Adrien declared while smirking.

'Wow, I've never seen him smirk before, but that smirk looks so familiar...it was chat noir's smirk...could it be?' Marinette thought to herself.

Suddenly, Adrien threw the ball at Marinette. She didn't have time to think so she backflipped out of reflex. Everyone stared in awe and bewilderment at her.

Adrien's P.O.V

I threw a ball at Marinette which she dodged by doing a back flip. Everyone stared at her in awe. While I was staring she took this chance to throw a ball at me. Thanks to my cat-like reflexes that I got from being a superhero, I dodged it. I threw another ball at her, but she dodged it by doing a front flip, rolling and stopped with one knee on the ground. Again everyone stared at her in awe, even me. I watched Marinette all day. I saw how she ran really fast, like Ladybug. How she's very flexible, just like Ladybug. Even now, the way she dodges the balls I throw at her, and the fact that she won't give up, exactly like Ladybug.

'Looks like I finally found you, m'lady.' I thought. As I was in my trance she took this chance to throw a ball at me, I noticed this and dodged the ball.

"Uh uh uh, m'lady, you don't think I'll go easy on you, do you?" I said.

"Well well, looks like my kitty finally found me." She said then smirked. What have I gotten my self into now? I fought hard but she won in the end.

"Looks like I finally found you, m'lady." I said as I walked up to her.

"Well, it took you long enough, Chaton." She teased.

"Well how 'bout I take you out for dinner tonight to celebrate your grand victory?" I asked her. She thought about it for a while.

"Pick me up at six." She answered. Then she kissed my cheek and left. I felt so happy. I changed back into my normal clothes and started to plan out where to take her to dinner.
