As Marissa desperately tired to get to safety from this dispicable man that kept her here like a prisoner, she wondered if this was just life. This is all that she had known, so was it? As the gentle and elagant voice of her mother and father played back in her head she layed there wanting to know only one thing, why me?
''What did I ever do?'' Marissa thought. Weres the childhood? Weres the barbies? Weres the playing? As she set there, all she did was cry every night. She stared at the black celling that looked never ending. Black holy walls surounded her. Her bloodshot eyes mocked her non-willingness to sleep never knowing if the next day she still shall return to ''human life''. Was this all just a scary dream that like the room felt never ending? Her red torn up shirt and Slimy Green pants from eating and the grotesque room was all she had. She had only 2 things that she kept with her all of this time, and that was her faith in her family, and those words that they gave her that she will never forget. they said "No matter what happens you live your life and never give up, because we will be there some day for you." "We love you Marissa."
Seven years old, the young Marissa felt as if she wasn't still living anymore. She felt dis-respected, dis-oned, and just not even a person anymore. She loved her family, and wanted the best for them, but she didn't want to walk away from this journey without being finished. She wanted to make sure that no-one else got there lives taken from them as well. She was going to make a difference.
Young Marissa pretended to be asleep when she heard the beast approaching. He had long dark hair. Curlier than a vine. Thick and grease. His clothes were ironed and strait. He was tall and disgusting. He never showed his face, as if he never wanted his identity getting out. You would think that since he always looked the same, that would be enough. Scared and disturbed she fell fast asleep. Awakening hopefully, but if not on Earth, in paridise she cames!
