Elevator love story (SasuNaru)

The weekend was packed over at the most popular and biggest mall in Konoha. People were squeezing in and out in shops, crowds were everywhere.

"Ugh, why did we choose to come here today?!" Naruto grumbled.

"I'll never get my suit for prom, and I'll never be able to get Sakura with my charm!"

Kiba chuckled, "Ah, don't worry. Sasuke won't steal her from you."

"That's exactly what I'm worried about!" The blonde stopped, affecting the crowd's flow, as he raised his arms and voice.

"Let's get going." Shikamaru dragged Naruto along. "Don't lose hope yet, we still have four more floors to go." He yawned.

"Yes, let's hurry up. I'm hungry. After this we should go get lunch."

"Argh, choji! You're always hungry!" Naruto pouted, does no one care about his huge problem?! What if Sakura rejects him for prom? What if she says yes to Sasuke?!

Noo! The more he thought about it, the worst it got.

"Hurry,hurry,hurry!" Naruto dragged his friends, as they attempted to go up. The escalator was packed with people, it even formed a queue. The line of people were so slow, as more people came to join the line.

"Let's take the elevator." Shikamaru walked off casually to the lift lobby, while Naruto dragged Kiba and Choji running after them with a bag of chips in his hands.

"Wait up! Wait up! You guys know I'm not good at running!" he panted.

Naruto clicked the lift button repeatedly, hurriedly. The moment the elevators door open, people rushed in and out and there was hardly any space for the group, not to mention Choji. They waited for a few lifts, but the amount of people did not lessen.

Naruto had enough, he folded up his sleeves, and posed in front of the lift doors. He prepared himself to run in, like in life and death situation to get a spot for him and his friends, he waited impatiently.

He will not fail Sakura!

He will take her to prom!!

He will not lose to Sasuke!!!

"Woah, becareful, you don't want to get flattened by the crowd." Kiba laughed, taking a step back.

"Wha-what do you think this is?! A cartoon film?!" Naruto replied.

Outrageous! Does no one really took his issue seriously?!?!

When the doors slowly opened, time slowed down for Naruto, he frowned as sweat rolled down his forehead. Naruto's leg sprang on it's own, he dashed in through everybody, pushing and pushing, when suddenly he knocked into someone, and got knocked back into reality.

The lift was empty, not completely empty. There was one person in the lift, lying under Naruto.

Who was that person?

Sasuke Uchiha.

"Watch it, moron." Sasuke groaned.

"Sa-Sasuke?! Why are you here?"

Naruto's face redden, what an awkward situation this was. What an awkward situation this was indeed.

He turned around to see his friends but the doors closed behind him as they proceeded to the basement floor.

Two of them were just in an elevator.

"Same reason why you're here."

"How did you- you stalked me?!"

"No, you idiot. Why would I stalk you? I was texting Shikamaru."

"Oh.." Naruto slowly got up and cleared his throat.

Sasuke dust himself as he stood up, "Got a prom date yet?" Then putting his hands into his pockets.

What? Why is he asking? Is he mocking Naruto?!

"No. But I plan to ask Sakura."

"Don't."

"What? Why not? You want to ask her too, huh?!" Naruto placed his hands on his hips, pouting.

Honestly, if Sasuke asked Sakura, Naruto wouldn't even stand a chance.

"No. I want to ask you."

"Me?!"

"Yes. I want to ask you to be my prom date."

He inched closer to Naruto, holding his waist and pulling him closer until while the other kept moving away, forcing himself to the corner.

"I want you."

Both of their noses touch, lips just inches apart and eyes locked.

Before anything could escape Naruto's lips, the lift doors opened. The entire group was standing there, looking at them. None of them were surprised.

"Took you long enough." Shikamaru yawned, as the entire group walking into the lift normally, clicking the second floor button.

What?! What is this?! Did everyone know they shared feelings for each other except Naruto?

No wonder no one was worried for poor Naruto..
