It came as no surprise to me that the next morning Claire was looking her usual presentable self and seemed ready to fight her corner.

"Here's the plan. Owen, you go and speak to Barry this morning over breakfast and then report back here to Claire and I." I told him as he fed Harper some mashed up bananas.

"Okay, okay. And what if he's not there?" he asked.

"Go to our apartment, he might be sulking." Claire said. Owen nodded and stood up. He kissed me and Harper goodbye, much to her disgust.

"I'll be back soon baby." he cooed, tickling her under her chubby chin. With a final brief run through of the plan, Owen left.

"I feel so awful for making him go out on a Saturday morning." she sighed.

"He doesn't mind, he just wants to help." I reassured her, taking Harper's plastic bowl over to the sink and rinsing it.

"I can't believe how good he is with Harper. I never thought I'd see the day Owen Grady was cradling a baby."  she said.

"Neither did I this time last year!" I replied, referring to when he freaked out about me being pregnant.

"It's weird how things turn out..." she fell silent for a moment, "Rosie, can I ask you a serious question?"

"Sure, fire away."

"Is your vagina still tight?" she said, stifling a giggle. I pretended to be shocked and covered Harper's ears.

"Let's just say before you called last night Owen was moaning about how tight I was." I smirked.

"Oh god, too much information. But in all seriousness, is it actually?"

"Yeah, honestly. It stretches like, at the time, but just goes back to normal after." I laughed.

"Thank god!" she breathed.

"Were you seriously worrying about that?!"

"Yes! I don't want a bucket!" she cried before we both burst out laughing.

Owen stormed into the house, his expression unreadable.

"Well...?" we both said in unison.

"That man is practically impossible." he grumbled as he sat down on the couch opposite us, "he's worse than both of you two put together!"

"Hey!" I said, leaning over and kicking him, "But did you make him see the light?"

"I might have worked my Grady charm..." he said with a smirk and we both raised our eyebrows, "oh come on! Rosie you at least must know I have charm. We wouldn't have that little girl if I didn't." he raised his eyebrows suggestively gesturing to Harper who was being held by Claire.

"I'm marrying you for the money." I said in a dead-pan tone before we all spluttered with laughter.

"Anyway, he asked to see you, so I told him you'd go home." Owen finished.

"Okay. Thanks so much you guys for last night and thankyou so much for this morning Owen, it means a lot to me." she handed Harper over to me and hugged us both.

"Call me and let me know what happens, alright?" I said as I waved her off from the door.

"Oh bless her." I sighed as I turned back into our house.

"Barry was a mess too. It didn't really take that much convincing, I was just tricking you." he smirked.

"Owen!" I said, shaking my head with a smile.
