Santa Claus’s Son is My Master?! WTF!!!

I’m telling you. If you’re having your own study room or office, please make sure that you’re not going to mess it up like my boss here. Ugh! This cleaning is taking too long for comfort.

It was about an hour and a half since I started helping my boss. We managed to clean about a third if the mess around here, but it still seems like that I’m going to be here for a few more hours. The cold atmosphere before was gone. We’re just chatting up with our usual characters. I often just ask about my job, the place, and all the other common stuff newbies ask. He answered promptly and told me about the staff there’s around here. The list was quite long so I won’t bother telling you about them for now. I’ll be meeting them soon enough and you’ll get to know them. Yes, this is the typical kind of work you’d expect since I’m just an assistant. It’s not like I expect something to happen.

Well, that is until that loud piercing sound rang throughout the whole building.

“Ehwo! Ehwo! Ehwo!” (A/N: sorry, I didn’t know how to imitate the alarm sound)

“What? What’s going on?” I shouted, while covering my ears.

I heard Sammy mutter something under his breath and looked at me. He told me, “Uh… something just happen. I’ll just go check it for a while. Stay here, okay? No matter what or how curious you are, don’t go outside this room.”

“What? Why? Why can’t I go with you?”

He backed away and said, “Uh…this is something that you don’t need to involve yourself with.”

I suddenly became enraged and screamed unintentionally, “What is so damn confidential that even the boss’s assistant can’t know about?!”

I realized what I’ve just said and crap, I just might lose my new job because of my sharp tongue. I can’t look at him in the eyes with the same confidence I’ve had before. In fact, I feel like digging myself in a hole.

I heard a soft step beside me amidst the sounding alarm and I looked up to see Sammy’s face. His face doesn’t look angry or annoyed or anything like that at all. Actually, he more of looked like worried or sad.

                My breaths stopped.

                I was transfixed.

The noise faded into the background and all I can sense are his movements.

                His breathing.

                His gaze at me.

Everything about him now seems so in detailed like his white suit or his blonde hair.

Huh? What’s going on with me?

                …
