Chapter five: Fears

*Jins P.O.V*
Pulling away from Taehyung and the boys, I sniffle and wipe at my eyes with my sleeves. Taking a deep breath to calm myself, I look at my watch and notice the time, my eyes widening from surprise at how fast the time went by. "Shit, we're going to be late to our classes! C'mon!" All of the boys grab their bags and follow me as I run into the school, past all of the bustling teenagers to my first period class. All of us separating ways to our own classes. Once I was at my class room, I stared sadly, my eyes tearing up a bit, at my seat next to the boy who had shattered my heart less than an hour ago. I could feel the ache in my heart growing like the vines of roses in my chest, wrapping around my heart and straining it, making it bleed emotion and my chest become heavy again. Knowing I have to take my seat because class will start soon, I take a stiff step into my classroom, only to be pushed in farther by one of my classmates rushing into the class room to get to their assigned seat. I begin to slowly shuffle over to my shared desk. My heart aching in my chest and the awkwardness looming in the air. This is what I had been fearing all morning, having to face him.
Finally, I make it to my seat, sitting down and setting my bag by my feet, uncomfortably shifting in my chair next to him. The boy I no longer want to mention in my life because of what he did to me. The boy who I was sitting awkwardly beside.
As if fate were to be on my side on this dreadful morning, the teacher had walked into our class, not too soon after starting his lecture on our independent assignments for our English class.
