Remus and Sam slowly made their way down to the Great Hall, hand in hand.
Remus picked up Sam's left hand, and looked at it. "You need a ring." he quietly said, so no one could hear.
Samantha slightly blushed, she hated this subject. "No." she quietly disagreed.
"You do." Remus replied, lightly. A small smile crept onto his face. "It makes it official. It means you're mine."
The corner of Sam's lips twitched up. She loved the way that sounded. "But-"
"No 'buts'" Remus said. "You're getting one. I'm proposing again. I'm going to do it the right way this time." he said.
"Remus, last time was more than perfect." Sam argued.
"What about 'last time'?"A voice from behind them said. The speaker put an arm around the couple, then said. "Last time you had-"
"James!" Sam cried out.
"I was right!" James smiled. "So, Remus... how is she in-"
"James!" Remus yelled.
"I'm guessing-" started James, but before he could finish someone had punched him in the stomach.
"Ow!" James cried out. "Howler! What the heck?!"

Sam sighed as she set her book bag down on the floor of the common room by the chair by the fire. She plopped down into the chair and closed her eyes.
"I don't think you'll get any sleeping done. James and Sirius plan on setting-" Remus started, but was cut off by a horrible smell and green fog that filled the room. Sam and Remus both started coughing. When the smoke thinned Remus finished. "Dungbombs. They planned on setting off Dungbombs."
Sam laughed a little. "Be right back." she said, then ran up the girls staircase taking her bag with her. Sam quickly came down with light jeans and a light shirt on, guitar in hand.
"Uh-" said Remus.
"I'll be back by dinner." she quickly said, then ran out the common room door.
Sam made her way down the stairs and past the Great Hall to the Black Lake. She sat with her back to the tree, and started strumming on her guitar. Once she got the beat started, she added lyrics, just singing from her heart.
