A light rain starting dripping down from the sky and onto Samantha, who sat with her back to the tree by the Black Lake. She quickly grabbed her, more like Alfred's, guitar and ran up to the entrance of Hogwarts with a few other students who had decided to hang outside.
Sam quickly took a secret passage up to the Gryffindor tower, stashing her stuff in her dorm, then headed back down to the Great Hall.
At the crowded and rowdy table she found her bestfriends, and fiance. Sam smiled as she took a seat next to Remus, taking his hand in hers, then piling on tons of the turkey that was being served tonight.
"Hungry, are we?" an amused voice asked Sam. She looked up to see James smirking at her.
She rolled my eyes. "Not really." Sam responded, then went back to eating.

"What were you doing with a guitar outside?" asked Remus from where we sat on the couch in the Common Room.
"Fishing." Sam joked.
Remus gave her a confused look, then his face broke into a smile when he realized what she was talking about.
Samantha smiled at this. She got up from the couch, lightly kissed Remus on the cheek, then headed up to the girls dorms.
"You didn't answer me!" Remus called after her.
"I don't need to!" Sam responded back.

Well past midnight Samantha decided she wasn't going to fall asleep any time soon, so she picked up her guitar and headed down to the Common Room.
Sam silently cheered as she saw it was empty. She made her way over to the window sill, and took a seat.
The rain drops raced down the window as Sam softly began to play her guitar. After going through the instrumental part a few times, she started singing softly.
After a few times of going through it, she finished up again, and heard clapping coming from the other side of the room.
Sam looked up to see James leaning against the wall, smiling. When he noticed Sam's eyes on him, he made his way over to her, and smirked. "Singing about your soul mate?"
Samantha turned red. "Never bring that up!" she hissed.
James rolled his eyes. "You think I'm going to listen?" he asked. "Remus and Samantha, soul mates!" James loudly announced.
"Shut up, James!" Sam hissed. "Shut up!"
James sighed, then turned serious and asked. "Have you told Remus yet? Is that why you've become more couple-ish."
Sam froze a little at the question. "No. I haven't told him yet." she sighed. "I need to, don't I ?"
James nodded. Before he could say something, though, Remus came down the stairs of the boys dorms. He let out a yawn, then asked. "Tell who what?"
Sam felt a weight drop in her stomach. James grinned, and said. "Why don't you take this lovely time to tell Remus what you were talking about."
Samantha faked a yawn. "In the morning. I'm too tired." she lied, hoping Remus would forget about this in the morning.
"Oh, you can last a few minutes." James said, still grinning. With that, he ran up the stairs and into his dorm.
Remus looked at Sam, an eyebrow raised.
"Look..." Sam started to say.
