A friend confused,
A friendship gone,
Abandonment fears long since dawned
A lost love found
And lost again
A crushed shell
No one defends
This soulless creature
A heartless shell
Was once a girl
So full of life
So full of hope
Life since taken
Hope since broken
With no more tears to cry
A shell left to sit alone
And watch as others come and go.
(Written as my world fell apart when I thought my best friend was going to push me out of his life because he found out I was in love with him and that he didn't want me but he did and still does want me...we've been together since March of 2016.)
