Chapter2- Pancakes in McDonald's

Chapter2

Luke's P.O.V:

Wow... I couldn't stop staring at that girl; she was gorgeous! Her long blonde hair was tied up in a high ponytail and I noticed that the ends had been dyed a pinky-purple colour. She had big black glasses placed on her face; they actually suited her really well. She was wearing a big, fluffy, white jumper with a really cute panda on, which made me smile to myself. On her bottom half was a pair of plain black leggings and, topping off the look, was a pair of black TOMS. The outfit looked amazing on her, even though she probably didn't try very hard. I guess you could say she was effortlessly beautiful.

I was pulled away from my thoughts by Michael, asking them to let us buy them a new breakfast. I mentally crossed my fingers as I awaited their reply. 

"Umm, I guess that would be ok?!" I heard her say, looking back to her friend for reassurance. Her friend nodded her head enthusiastically as she said, "Yep, fine by me!" 

"Well, let's goooo!", shouted Ashton. I chuckled at his childish behaviour. 

We all wandered back towards McDonald's before grabbing a spot in the queue. 

"So, what do you girls want?", Calum asked them.

They both looked at each other and smiled sneakily before shouting "PANCAKES!!" 

We started to giggle uncontrollably, getting a few dirty looks from strangers. 

We all ordered our breakfasts, me obviously getting pancakes aswell; well, what can I say? I want to impress her with my amazing taste in food. 

Once we finally recieved our meals, we scanned the resturant looking for a free table. I spotted one in the corner of the room and immediately pointed it out.

"There's one!" I shouted. Everyone looking at me as I blushed; she held her stare longer than everyone else. When she realised I was looking at her she turned away quickly, blushing like crazy. Holy shit... she's so cute! 

We all hurried over to the table before someone else took it. Once we had all sat down, I decided to introduce myself.

"So, what are your names then?" I asked, kind of nervously.

"I'm Mae and this is my best friend, Evie! And you guys?" she said as she blushed. Oh my god, that name is just absolutely perfect...

Mae's P.O.V:

"I'm Mae and this is my best friend, Evie! And you guys?" I answered his question rather abruptly and immediately started to blush as I felt him staring at me. 

"I'm Calum!", the tanned one said perkily.

"I'm Ashton!", the blonde one said.

"I'm Michael!", said the one who Evie liked. I saw her eyeing him longingly and tried not to smile like an idiot. 

"And I'm Luke..." Luke. That name was gorgeous, just like him... Ugh, what am I doing? I've known the guy 5 minutes and I already feel like I'm falling. But that's stupid! He clearly just wants to be my friend so that's the way these things have to stay.

"So guys,tell us a bit about you?!" Evie exclaimed, seeming a bit over-excited.

"Ok, well, I'm 19, Michael here is 17, almost 18, Calum is 17 too, and baby Lukey is 17 aswell! Haha, I feel so old!" Ashton explained.  

Me and Evie both giggled at his little remark. 

"So, how old are you guys?" Ashton queried.

"17!" we both replied before laughing out loud. Ashton pouted because he was the odd one out. This just made me laugh harder. 

"Birthdays?" I finally asked after laughing for about 10 minutes.

 After sitting in McDonald's for about an hour just chatting about nothingness, we had become quite good friends with the boys. Just as we were all about to leave, Luke began walking over to me and Evie.

"Er, Mae?" he asked, seeming quite nervous, blushing uncontrollably.

"Yes Luke?"I replied, curious to know what Luke had to say.

"Do you and Evie, maybe, wanna come to our flat tomorrow for dinner? I mean, it's alright if you..."

I decided to cut him off as he was clearly uncomfortable by saying "Yes, of course we would Luke! Thanks!"

His stiffened body noticably relaxed as he smiled and replied, "Awesome, I'll text you the address!"

"Yeah, that would be great, if you actually had my number!" 

"Oh yeah..." he whispered, clearly embarassed. Ugh, I loved his accent so much I can't even! It's just so... so Australian! Australian and sexy...

"Mae? Are you there?" His sexy voice snapped me out of my little daydream.

"Oh, sorry, I was just... thinking..."

"So, do you want my number or not?!" he teased. 

"Yep!" 

"Well, gimme your phone so i can type it in then!!" 

We swapped phones and I added a new contact giving it a name; MAE IS THE SEXIEST PENGUIN ALIVE!!! What? I love penguins, is that such a crime? 

Once I finally recieved my phone again I checked to see what he had named himself in my contacts list; LUKE THE AUSTRALIAN SEX BOMB!! was what I found.

We both smirked. I'm guessing he saw what I had written too.  

"LUKE! Are you coming or not?" we heard Calum shout out. 

"YEAH, COMING!", he yelled back before turning to face me again. "Erm, I've gotta go..."

Luke's P.O.V

"Erm, I've gotta go..." I said, kinda awkwardly. 

"Aw, what a shame. I better get going too! Text ya later Lukey!" she replied as I turned to walk back to the boys. Did she just call me Lukey? Okay, that is too cute! 

"Bye, Mae! Bye, Evie!" us boys shouted all in unison.

"Bye guys!" i heard them call back as we all went our separte ways...
