After our encounter at the bathhouse, I was more than ready to sit and watch a movie.

We walked to the theater near the bath and tried to pick a movie.

"Okay, so let see. There's a horror, some animes playing and a romance or two." I read off the large frames outside the building, using very helpful Google to see what they were about.

"The anime just looks dumb and Japanese horrors are never good. I say we go with the romance but it's up to you" Jack said sweetly, reminding me of my birthday.

I had almost forgot that today was my birthday. But when I read the plot of the romance, I felt immediately interested. The plot looked really interesting and unique.

I read it to Jack and he nodded. We both decided to see that one.

The ads before the movie took a lot longer than they did in America and the theater was mostly empty.

We grabbed seats near the middle and Jack bought a soda for us to share. I tried to put my arm up on the rest but Jack had the same idea. He looked to me and blushed. Our arms touched and I just felt my face go red.

I wanted to think quickly, so I bravely took his hand in mine and we both rested our arms on the armrest.

The movie began and the opening title rolled across the screen.

The movie had finished and I didn't really understand what happens at the end. The guy had found the girl at the beginning of the movie on the side of the street. And she was so post to be a prostitute.

The plot was a lot like Pretty Woman but with a lot more fighting. In the end, the woman left the man to go fulfill her dream of being a model and she meet up with him three years later, becoming famous and rich.

The movie was a little hard to understand because of the Japanese, but all the movements made sense.

I looked over to Jack. He looked like he was in the edge of crying! He just starred at the screen as the ending credits flew past, playing some weird song.

I tapped him on the shoulder and he slowly turned to me, dramatically. My eyes widened and I stood.

"Uhh, you okay?" I asked, awkwardly.
"Y-yeah.... That was really sad. How did you not cry at the part when there pet dog died?" He asked me seriously, with a look in his eye, like he actually believed they were real people.

"Whoa, I didn't know you go emotional at sad movies" I backed away, with my hands up.

He wiped his eyes, "sorry, that was just a really good movie" I smiled and hugged him, trying to support him.

He seemed to have calmed down and I took his hand to lead him out of the theater.

We walked sow the streets for a while, realizing it would be dark soon. Jack spotted a nice diner and we ate dinner.

We returned back to the hotel and Jack just looked at me, smiling.

"Alright, so we've gone to a Japanese High School, we've gone to a bath house, and we saw a Japanese romance movie. Now the last thing on our list?" Jack smirked

"The temple. And why are you smirking at me?" I was slightly confused at what Jack had in mind. But I had a feeling I would like it.

Jack made me turn around so I couldn't see what he was doing. We walked over to the temple and to my surprise, it was a massive floating temple.

The large building was in the middle of a small lake and the beautiful yellow lights around it made it glow.

Jack left me in my awe as he jumped into a riverboat.

"Come on, are you ready?" He motioned for me to get on as the man hiding the boat stood to meet my arrival.

I walk over and Jack helped me in. I admired the temples beauty and looked to Jack.

"Jack, it's is beautiful! I can't believe you brought me here. Thank you. This means a lot to me" I smiled at Jacks cute face he made.

"Your welcome. It was hard to find, but I knew I would put a lot of effort into today. Happy Birthday Makimoo" he just smiled sweetly as he stair end back at me.

When the boat arrived at the temple, we got to take a tour inside. We had to be quiet and learn how to pray to the gods of this temple.

I saw Jack being a little annoying as he rang the two large bells hanging from massive ropes.

But nevertheless, it was stunning. I didn't even have words to describe how perfect everything was. The temple, the lights, and being here with the only person I'd ever with to be with.

Jack took me to a side patio of the temple. There were two chairs facing the water, as if this were planned a while ago.

Jack then took out the basket I didn't realize he had until he took it off his shoulder.

I sat as he opened the basket, reviling a bottle of wine and two wine glasses. I blushed and smiled at him putting my hand over my heart.

"Happy Birthday Mark. I hope you like my surprise." Jacks voice echoes in the silence of the clear night.

My face lit up for his words,

"Jack I honestly couldn't ask for anything more. Today has been perfect. This temple, is perfect y-... You are perfect" my cheeks flushed and I smiled at him thankfully.

He blushed at my comment and poured the wine. I couldn't be more comfortable then where I am right now, with Jack.

After a while, the silence took over and I was left sitting in awe at everything. I knew Jack had been starring at me for quite some time, but I pretended not to notice.

"Mark, there's something I need to tell you."

I looked over to him, waking from my trance. His brilliant blue eyes were all I could see.

His voice was soothing as I starred into his eyes, waiting for the next sentence eagerly.
