Channing-

I ran at a pace that could have made a NASCAR driver tremble in envy. I tried to conceal myself in the shadows as I snuck through the neighborhoods without a sound. I paused for a second trying to sniff out her intoxicating aroma is if it were the only perfume sprayed in a cosmetic store. I caught on to that wonderful scent that makes my heart flutter and my palms sweat. My head swung from side to side to see if anyone was watching as I sprinted down the road as if a whoosh of the wind. I slammed my heels to the ground for my instantaneous stop at Lynzi's front door. My heart seemed to beat sporadically as I looked up at the windows. Which one should I look through? I'm not sure but I guess that I have to figure that out myself. I leaped off the ground into the emerald and coffee brown tree branches above. I sniffed the crisp night air as the wispy clouded moon shone through the slits between the leaves. My nose couldn't help but lead me to her window on the west wall of her house. I silently made my way to her window as I balanced myself on the edge of a weak branch. My hand swirled around the glass as I wiped away the fog. My breath caught in my throat as I saw her picturesque features nearly glowing from the moons light. Her mouth was slightly opened as she breathed in and out calmly and peacefully. Her lashes shadowed across her cheeks appearing 3 inches longer. Her soft loopy curls fell angelically about her round face. After I saw her sleeping there I couldn't control my body anymore. I found myself jumping off the branch onto the window seal and swiftly yet tranquilly opening the window. Within seconds I was in her room closing her window. I can't believe that I have actually done this! There she was. Sleeping peacefully. I was only a yard away yet it felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest from being so far. She shifted positions and rolled towards the wall. I tip-toed towards her bed and laid down next to her warm body. I closed my eyes as I relaxed and just focused on her soft snoring. My eyes snapped open as I felt a hand rest on my chest. I tensed looking down at the still latent girl. I sighed in pure ecstasy as her head rested on my chest and hand wrapped around my neck. Without my consent, my arms wrapped around her torso, lightly enough not to wake her. She sighed causing her cool breath to whisk across my face, sending chills to journey down my spine. I rested my lips on the top of her head as I kissed her hair over and over just taking in the feeling of being so close. My emotion went from nothing but absolute joy to deep sadness. I lifted my head to lean it against the pillow. What was I going to do? I'm kissing her, holding her, wanting so badly to wake her up and just be able to show her that I care about her and that what I did was pointless. My mind went through a number of thoughts as I pondered what I was open to do. I couldn't just sneek into her room every night and hold her. That would never work and would probably creep her out to a new level. I loosened my grip to let her turn and shift as she pleased but still keeping her in my arms. I just stared out the window at the black, star-less sky thinking of what I had to do to make this work. I care for this girl. She makes me feel things that I have never felt for a girl before. She's beautiful, curious, and just interesting. I contemplated whether I should talk to her about everything at school or take her some place to talk alone. I felt her rustle around in my grip as she sighed once more and flipped a few curls onto my face. I chuckled lightly thinking of how badly she was teasing the hormonal 18 year old that hasn't disappeared even after over 400 years. I smiled thinking of how badly I wished to kiss her and just be able to hold her closer than I could now. I kissed Lynzi's hair once more while taking in her scent. I leaned my head back to stare at her face before I had to sneak back out. Suddenly her eyes fluttered open. She was staring at my face with a sweet expression that abruptly turned sour. She was shocked, confused, and somewhat frightened. All we could do was stare. We never moved our positions; she was still lying on my chest with her arm wrapped around me, and I still had my arms securely holding her body to mine. She began to talk but immediately stopped herself. We both had no idea what to say. What was there to say? She looked into my eyes with an intense look of sadness and confusion.

"Channing...why are you here?" Lynzi's horse voice echoed through the room as the silence began to grow and the darkness seemed to enhance as the scene became more embarrassing.
