Chapter 1

"BRIIIIING!" the school bell went at school and as everyone in my class gathered their stuff and ran out of the room, Ms Bustier yelled, "and don't forget to have those permission slips back in by Monday.

"I can't believe it girl, you and me, Nino and ADRIEN and the Sydney harbour bridge, just a couple of weeks away." Alya said to me. "Y-yeah um, s-so exciting." I  muttered. "What is your problem girl we get to  go to Australia for a week, and your muttering." Alya said as she looked at me. "It's just that i'm going to be in the same group with ADRIEN aaaaah!" i screamed, "Oh I know whats goiong on," Alya said, "You're scared you're going to be all, i-ah, um, erh, infront of Adrien." "it's um, partially that and i also," "Spit it out girl," Alya screamed at me. "It's just if i go to Australia and he talks to me i think that i just might die of embaresment." I exclaimed.

"BRINGGG" my alarm went off the next morning and as i turned over to press snooze tikki flew over me with a wet rag and ringed it out over me, "Not today Marinette." Tikki triumphantely said. "it's monday now and you still haven't gotten your parents to sign your permission slip. so go down stairs now and get them to sign that form!" tikki demanded. "oh alright Tikki," i said, as i draggd myself out of bed.

after i had my shower and went downstairs my mom was standing there with Alya, "Alya, what are you doing here?" i asked. "I thought you might forget to mention to your parents about our field trip, so i am over early and informed your mom about it." Alya informed me, "And look," she said, "i even printed you out a spare copy of the permission slip and got your mom to sign it." Alya showed me with a sly grin on her face. "Um, thanks," I muttered.

"now class just incase you've forgotten your groups let me remind you." Ms Butier said, "we have Sabrina, Chloe, Kim and Max, Mylene, Alex, Ivan and Nathanael, Adrien, Nino, Marinette and Alya, Lyla, Rose and Juleka since we have odd numbers." Ms Bustier announed. "Um miss, are these the same groups who we will be sharing a cabin with or are these just the tour and activities groups?" Alya asked, "Please, please,please let these not be our cabin groups." I thought, "Well Alya no, these aren't your Cabin groups. The girls will have one hotel room and the boys will have one." Ms Bustier explained "So ALL the girls will be in the same room?" i asked praying that i didn't have to share a room with Chloe. "Yes Marinette, it will be one big hotel suite and each girl with her partner in her group will have their own room, but since Mr Bourgeois is coming he wants Chloe to come in and sleep in their suite." Ms Bustier explained to the class. i was happy that i didn't have to put up with Chloe's rubbish during the trip.

"Adrien, Nino, do you guys want to come with us to get ice ceams?" Alya asked, "It gets cold in Winter in Sydney so we won't be able to get ice creams it will be too cold ." Alya explained. "Since you put it like that iguess i'm having an ice cream." Adrien said, "Yeah me too bro," Nino agreed.

after the ice creams Marinette, Alya, Adrien and Nino all headed back too school for the afternoon science class with the slightly grumpy teacher Ms Mendeleiv.

"Why is Ms Mendeleiv so grouchy today?" I asked Alya, "What are you talking about girl? she's always like this," Alya joked and I grinned. "AAAAAAH!" we heard a scream coming from outside, as i ran to the window i saw a puff off smoke and then a man wearing a plain white top, with a suit over the top and a red bow and top hat apeared. "The names Illusionist," he announced. With a puff of smoke coming from his wand people started to disappear.

i ran down the corridor to the girls toilets and Tikki flew out of my bag, "Tikki, spots on," i declared, and as my hands gestured across my mask appeared and i was no longer Marinette, i was Ladybug."

as i make my way to the Eiffle tower i see Chat Noir already there Fighting Illusionist with his baton. "You're not the only one who can do magic tricks," Chat Noir declared, "Is that so" the Illusionist said. and on my cue i jumped up elbowing him in the back. "Glad to see you m'lady and might i say you are looking purrfect today." Chat said flirtingly. "This is no time for your jokes Chat Noir, can't you see we're in the middle of a crisis." i said, "Abra-cadabra," The magician announced and a ginormous rabbit apeared. "Attack" Illusionist shouted and the bunny came towards us. "Chat noir," "the akuma's in his wand distrct the rabbit i grab it." I announced. "Lucky charm." i anounced, it was a bottle of oil, "What am i supposed to do with this?" i questioned, then i used my vision and then i yelled, "I got it," "Well can you hurry bug-a-boo, this fluffy bunny is one i dont want to pet." Chat said. i ran towards the Illusionist and spilled the oil so he would slip. when he did he dropped his wand. so i took my chance and glided over to pick it up, as i did so i broke in two using my knee. the akuma came out and i purified it. "Miraculous ladybug" i yelled and everything including the masked magician went back to its normal self. "w-where am i" the now harmless magician asked. "Pound it" Chat and i said.

as i headed bback to school Alya asked me were i'd been "the akumatied Illusionist made me disappear, but thanks to ladybug and chat noir Paris is saved." I said hugging Alya. "wow girl you need to be more careful" Alya said. "As for me, thank to this prison i was stuck here and couldn't record anything for my ladyblog." Alya said bummed. "I'm sure you'll get your chance another time." i said. "BRINGGG!" the school bell went and Alya and i headed out and went our seperate ways.

"hi mama, hi pappa" i yelled as i made my way through the bakery up to my room grabbing some cookies on the way up.

as soon as the door closed, out flew a very exhausted tikki, "Marinette." tikki said between mouthfuls of cookie, "yeah," i replied, "You don't seem excited about your trip to Australia." Tikki said. "yeah, it's just that how will Chat manage here without me too purify the akuma's" i asked. "how do you know that there will be any akuma's when you're gone." Tikki asked "Good point tikki. now i really need to study on this physics test, so please stop chewing in my ear." Marinette said, "Sorry," Tikki said.
