Soon Prince Laurence was back and reunited with his Queen. They were so happy to be together again.
They were both sitting side by side on their thrones turning their noses up at everything and everyone and looking through the law book 2k16 and discussing what ones they should change.
"I am not looking forward to this" sighed Laurence grumpily.
"Neither am I dear" Kier patted his arm reassuringly.
"I think Shane might be ill"
"So do I. If he's seeing someone like that"
"You never know. He may be nice" Laurence sipped at his tea which was served in a cup made from the finest pottery in Britain.
"Mum! Dad!" Shane burst through, ecstatic to show them his fiánce. "He's here!"
Kier and Laurence instantly straightened and edged forward to the front of their seats in anticipation.
"Bring him in son" Prince Laurence said in a loud voice.
Shane nodded hastily then left to quickly bring back a young man by the arm. That was Drew.
He had blonde sandy hair and dark brown eyes which you could get lost in. Kier was glad that at the very least he was somewhat attractive. And at the very least their son still had eyes.
Shane gently brought the small figure across the room to where his Mother and Father sat.
"Here he is" Shane said. "Drew... Meet my family"
Drew politely bowed at the Queen and Prince which obviously had been practiced 100's of times. "It's an honour to meet you Your Majesties" Drew's voice was shaky and Laurence could see a slight glimmer of sweat on his brow.
He must be terrified wondered Laurence under his breath. I mean who wouldn't be of people like us. We're approachable.
"Well Shane. Let's hope she's as good as she looks"
"Eh, Mother? Drew's a guy"
"Seems like a girl"
"Mum!"
"First we'll have to put you in some robes. We don't allow ghastly clothes like that. Especially tops which say Toast Dusters on it. You can't dust toast Drew dear" Kier gave Drew a sympathetic look as if Drew was a little child which had made an obvious mistake.
Drew gulped loudly.
"It says Ghost Busters mum" Shane's irritation was obvious in his voice. Soon he would burst.
"I am so sorry Your Majesty. If it offends you I'll change right away" Drew bowed again, even lower this time.
Kier was about to open his mouth when Laurence stepped in before Kier could make another false accusation. "So Drew.... When's the wedding?"

Ding dong ding doonngg
Ding dong ding dong
Diiinnngg dong ding dddoonnngggThe bells clattered loudly.
The whole of Britain was alive and vibrant. Everyone was singing and dancing with joy at the thought of the wedding. Today was going to be the best day ever.
Drew was busy putting on his wedding dress with all his bride's maids making a fuss over him.
"You'll look absolutely beautiful!" one bridesmaid giggled, Beatrice. She had her hair pinned up tight and white dress on pulled round her body even tighter. It was a bit too small for her.
"You're gonna make him cry!" another girl called Henrietta said, helping Drew step into the pure white gown. She cautiously pulled the delicate lace sleeves upwards and did up the back.
"Thank you" said Drew. "I'm so excited and nervous" Drew tried to breathe normally but it was impossible.
"No wonder. You will one day be queen" a third said, a spotty girl called Berta who was doing Drew's hair. "That's the biggest thing that could ever happen to anyone"
"I can't believe this is real. It can't be possible" Drew tried to calm himself down.
"Soon it will seem normal to you getting this much attention. It's amazing how fast the human body adjusts" Beatrice said, curling her hair for the tenth time. By now it was being singed and little clouds of smoke were snaking up into the air.
Drew picked up his long dress and underskirts and tried to walk to the mirror without falling over. He gasped when he saw himself.
"I look... I look" Drew could barely gulp down the tears.
"Like a princess" the girl said.

The grand ceremony began and wow was it a wedding.
Drew then tried to walk down the very long red carpet to his charming knight in shining armour waiting at the bottom for him. In fact Drew waddled more than walked as he was wearing ridiculously high shoes which never really made much of a difference.
If you looked closely, Drew did manage to make Shane shed a very small tear just in the corner of his eye.
They said their vows then the man in the fancy gown said "Do you Drew Woolnough take thee Prince Shane Sumner to be thy lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do" Drew looked adoringly at Shane.
"And do you, Prince Shane Sumner take thee Drew Woolnough as thy lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do" A large smile was plastered from ear to ear across Shane's face as he and Drew clutched each other's hands tightly.
"Then I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride!" and the whole land errupted with cheering and clapping as Shane kissed Drew.
Kier was in floods of tears with Laurence looking like the proudest father their ever was. Everything was how it should be. Perfect.
Then there was the honeymoon...
