When Lucifer and Nicholas stepped out of the door, they were greeted with a sidewalk full of tons of people. Lucifer turned around in search of the door they just went through. Oh, there was a door all right, but... "What in bloody Hell is this?" The boy yelled loud enough so that his minion could hear it. "And--" Lucifer covered his mouth with his hands in confusion; "Bloody Hell, Nicholas!" The 32 year old turned around, and replied with "What is bothering you, sir?" Lucifer was frustrated at this point. "Where in the Devil's name did I acquire this accent from?" Nicholas began to laugh at the boy, for he had not noticed what else changed when they stepped through that door.
Lucifer placed his hand in his left back pocket and found this thing. "What is this contraption?" The boy asked in confusion. This contraption had only a single button on the front with a large screen. Buttons placed on the left side and one button on the left. He touched the button on the left and the screen lit up. It read Slide to Unlock and so he did as the screen said. Lucifer slid his index finger across the screen and was presented a screen with these little bubbles on it. He received a message from Maze that read:
"Welcome to your new iPhone 6s Plus! This is your brother, but of course you knew that! Your'e probably VERY confused so let me help you out! That button at the bottom is called the Home button. If you press it, it will take you back to your home screen where there are apps. Those bubble shaped things with color are called Apps. I am texting you on your message app which is iMessage but on your screen labeled as Messages. You have a Phone app and much more. I have also gave Nicholas an iPhone 6s Plus also. They both are programmed with my number, and each other's number. You have opened the door to Manhattan, also known as Hell's Kitchen. I think you will like it there a lot. Anyhoo, I should be going, if you need anything, I am just a text away. If you decide to text, press that space at the bottom of this screen and a keyboard will pop up. You type on that and when you are finished you hit send! The rest you must play with by yourself. Bye!"
Another text popped up from Maze that read:
"Also, there is an Uber that is waiting for you right out front of the store you just left. He will take you to your suite, which is on the first floor of The Roosevelt hotel. Ask the lady at the front desk if someone will show you to your room. Have fun, the rest you need to know will be in your room. Now, bye!"
Nichols reached in his left back pocket and found the iPhone like Maze said.
A man walked up to them and said, "You must be Lucifer. Hi, I am your Uber driver and I will be escorting you to The Roosevelt, if you could so kindly follow me." Nicholas headed in front of Lucifer and began following the man; Lucifer followed behind Nicholas. They were escorted to a black SUV. The driver opened the back door for them and motioned his hand to the car telling them to hop on in. The two got in the back of the car, as for the driver, he shut the door behind them and headed to the driver's side.
While driving the two began talking. The driver stopped the car in front of this huge building and got out. He opened the back doors and let the gentlemen out and told them to have a great day. When they entered the hotel, they noticed a desk with two men and a woman at it behind computers. They proceeded by walking up to her.
"Good morning, men. How long will you two be staying?" The lady said with a courteous smile on her face. Nicholas began, "Hello, my friend told us to tell you that this is Lucifer and I am Nicholas and to ask for an escort to our suite." The lady began typing on the keyboard and looked at her monitor and said, "This is true." She rang the bell near her side and told them someone would be with them shortly.
After about a two minute wait, a young man, maybe in his twenties walked up and greeted them saying, "Hi, my name is Adam." He took out his hand and said "You must be Lucifer," looking down at the young boy. Lucifer took out his hand and shook Adam's. "In deed I am. Will you be showing us to our suite, Adam?" The young man shook his head in agreement and asked them to follow him.
They followed the young man down the hall to a red door on the left. "Here is your room, and here are your key-cards." He handed them the two key-cards and let them in. They were greeted with a beautiful suite!
