A slight giggle heard behind him, Lucifer turns around to see Maze laughing his tail off.
"And this is funny to you?" Lucifer said starting to get upset. His brother could barely stop laughing when he said, "Ah, calm down little one before you get upset in front of these lovely people."
"You knew about this!" Lucifer grabbed Maze by his collar and his eyes started to turn red. He forced himself to cool down and let go of Maze's collar.
"I say you just get this book signing over with and then we can talk about this later." Lucifer looked at Quincy and said, "I will be speaking with you after this is over." He walked away from the author and sat down in the back of the store.
Another hour had passed, and Lucifer got bored of hiding himself. He walked in the front of the store as two fans walked up to him.
"Is your name truly Lucifer Morningstar?" One of them said clinching the signed comic book close to her chest. "Yes, my name is truly Lucifer Morningstar. How may I--" the fan interrupted him. "Oh my gosh! Can you sign my book?" "And mine too?" The other fan asked. Lucifer's eyes widened as his cheeks turned bright red. "Of course I can sign your books."
They handed Lucifer a pen and he signed their books. A lot of the fans had already left and the manager was walking around the store. "Well kid, it's time to start cleaning up." The manager said to Lucifer as he walked in his office's direction.
Maze walked up to his little brother and patted him on the back saying, "Need some help?" He smiled at Lucifer. "Why bother? I could just clean this up in a quick snap of my fingers." Lucifer raised his hand, as the author walked up behind him. He put his hand on his shoulder and said, "Thanks lad." Lucifer quickly motioned his hand to his sides and smiled at him. "Go ahead and snap your fingers." Maze said from a distance. "He already knows." Lucifer sighed and snapped his fingers. The place was back to the way it was. "Woah, you are truly the one and only Lucifer Morningstar." The author said with huge eyes.
"Welp, I should be getting on out of here," the author started. "Unless." He turned away from Lucifer and started toward the exit. "Unless, of course, you would like to--" in the blink of an eye, Lucifer was standing in front of the exit. The author beckoned and almost knocked a stand of books over. "We are going to have a talk, Mr. Quincy. I need to know how in the Hell you know so much about me." Lucifer smirked.
"Alright, you caught me." The author said. Maze walked up uncomfortably close behind the author. "Come to dinner with us," Maze whispered in his ear. The author jumped and fixed himself in between the two grotesque creatures. Maze was facing the author with his hands in his pockets, whereas Lucifer had his hands cuffed in front of him. The author let a small groan; "All right, fine. Dinner, and that is it!" Maze got exited.
