Emma POV
As we were walking home Killian invited me to a hang out with all of his close friends. He told me later that is was casual. That's good because I have no fancy. I'm nervous. If Katie wasn't going to be at a sleepover tomorrow I won't even think about going. As I walk inside I get ready to ask my mom about the party tomorrow.

Killian POV
     As I walk away from Emma I look back. She's playing around with her fingers and biting her lip. She seems nervous. When I get home I make a quick little group chat clarifying who can come. Everyone answers but Emma, I text her individually.

Killian// You comin tomorrow?

Emma// Not sure. Lucy is still at work.

Killian// Ok text me when you know

Emma// ok. Killian?

Killian// Yes, Swan.

Emma// Who is in that group chat I don't know any of them.

Killian// I'll introduce you in person it's easier that way. And don't worry they will love you.

Emma// ok talk to you later.

After I text Emma I go downstairs.
     "Hi, dad," I say. He grunts a sorta yes noise. After a few minutes of silence he says something.
     "Uh, Killian," he says.
     "Yes dad," I say turning happy he's talking to me.
     "I was think maybe you could drop off some things for Liam today and maybe visit him." He says. Oh no. I'm scared. I nod yes. He hands me somethings to give to Liam. I head out into my car.

Emma POV
     I nervously pacing upstairs waiting for Lucy to get home. I hear the door open. I'm confused Lucy shouldn't be home for another hour. I slowly walk downstairs. I see Katie hardcore making out with someone. Soon they move to her room. I know what they are going to do. Oh no she's gonna be in so much trouble. After about 45 minutes I hear the boy leave.
"Katie!" I yell down the stairs. I hear her jump up. I bet she didn't think I was here. "Katie! Mom's home!" I tell down the stairs. I don't now what part of me is being nice to Katie. And frankly I don't know why. I hear her scramble. I run downstairs. Her room is a mess and her sheets are ruined. She's crying.
"Help me," she says crying. I run in the room. I grab nail polish, on all the stains I pour nail polish on to them. "What are you doing! These are new!" She screams.
"They were ruined anyway," I say. I hear Lucy come in the door. I cover one of my hands nails in the color. "Katie get dressed and sit on this bed." I hiss to her. She gets dressed and sits. "Paint my nails," I say. She does.
"Girls! I'm home," she says, as she walks up the stairs.
"Up here!" Katie says catching on to the plan. She screams. "Mom! Emma just spilled nail polish all over my bed!" I'm shocked are you kidding me. Lucy comes running up the stairs. She's mad.
"Emma!" She says. I just sit there shocked.
"I-I," I stutter. I'm so confused and hurt.
"Go to your room!" She yells. I can't believe this is happening. I look at Katie. She smirks. I've never seen Lucy so mad. "Go! Now!" She screams. I run out of the room and sprint up to my room. I'm so confused and hurt. I just saved Katie's butt and she ratted me out. I hold my knees and cry. I feel like a five year old. I'm in my closet hiding and crying. I hear my phone ring. It's going off like crazy. I don't care. It's probably about that party and I can't go to that for sure now. I don't come down for dinner, I don't get called down either. I sleep in my closet, not on purpose but I was just so tired.

Killian POV
I'm on my way to Liam. When I get there I walk up to the front desk I put down the box.
"I know I'm past visiting hour but here's a package for Liam Jones," the lady nods and takes the package. I leave as quickly as possible. I drive back home and go to bed. I'm not hungry for dinner.

Emma POV
I wake up in my closet. I didn't get much sleep last night. Everything hurts, this wasn't my best idea. I get up and get dressed. I wear a patterned tight long sleeve shirt and some white jean shorts. I want to go downstairs but I'm afraid to be yelled at again. Instead I just grab my phone and go back into the closet.

Killian POV
I wake up screaming. It's 9:00am and dads already left for work. I start to cry. I hate sleeping. Every bad memory comes back. I go downstairs and take two anxiety pills. I go check my phone, trying to distract myself till the pills kick in.

Emma POV
I hear someone coming upstairs. I run out of the closet and into my bean bag chair. I don't want to look crazy. I just play with my finger until someone opens the door, it's Lucy.
"Emma? Honey we need to talk," she says before she's fully coming in the door. I grab me knees. She walks in. "I'm sorry for yelling last night. I think I may have overreacted a little. I wanted to know it you wanted to take a little day trip with me. Katie is going to be gone at a sleepover and I am going to go on a little trip to like the beach or something," she says. I'm so confused I thought I was in trouble.
"I thought I was in trouble?" I say confusion in my voice. She laughs.
"Oh you were but then Katie said that she thinks it was an accident," she says. Now I'm really confused. Katie stood up for me. Sort of?
" I think I'll pass on the day trip. I got invited to a party but I think I'm just gonna study tonight," I say. I kinda hoped she's catch on and realize I really wanted to go.
"You can go if you want to," she says as she gets up to leave, I smile. I'm very much confused by the conversation I just had. I smile as I text Killian.

Emma// I can come.

I'm now suck counting down the minutes till my first high school hang out.
