"Relax please baby-"I beg her as we drive home in my Bugatti.

They had let her out, saying that she was perfectly fine except for her memory loss they could do nothing about. I was just happy she gets to be around familiar things again. Hopefully that helps. And the kids are home. Have been for a sealed week.

Damn near killed me with hugs and tears when I picked them up from the airport. And I cried like a bitch seeing my kids too.

Questions about where mama was weren't far after...

Hated to spoil their joy with that "Look guys we gotta talk".
Their smiles melted and in came the deep shit.

I told them Des had met in a bad accident and she's in the hospital, but alive.

Kyle threw a fit, fighting me off to get to the car from out the airport.He was so upset. In that moment I knew he had my temperament  when it came to his mother, and I couldn't scold him for it. He loves her very much, I completely understood it.

I had to run after him and restrain him in arms in a hug.The boy was strong as hell too and determined.
After calming him, I got everyone in the car and we drove home, of course I vetted them all with questions about Puerto Rico and all the sites and fun stuff that they may have done, and though I got answers, I knew from the mumbles and sighs, they'd rather not be talking...

I was breaking.They are so upset about their mother, but they don't even know the whole truth yet.Not even about the part that Daddy is going to prison for intent to kill, among other things.

 for a very long time.

Mom and Joe had a lot of questions. They had no idea about Des or Grace, cause I didn't tell them. Didn't want them to fret while they had the kids to look after. ..and I didn't want the kids to know  either and fret...so.
Mom on the other hand knew about father's 'resurrection' after the interview came out. She'd been calling and calling, but there was too much going on here to answer her and she had no contact to dad.

Safe to say I was not in a good place with her right then....her or Joe...

He didn't know a thing about what had happened...both women in his life damaged because of my life.

We didn't speak of it in the car ride because of the kids, but when we got home.They both let me have it.
Sarah  and Gretty were just happy to be back, Hanson and meadow the same.

"This is where you live! "She shrieks surprised and I'm brought back to present.

I look over at her and smile.

"We live baby."I say, "This is where we live."

She gasps amazed at the landscape she was seeing through the Window.
It was weird seeing her so struck by the same drive way she seen for eleven years.

I gotta admit I know I'm in for a task with this one. ..
But I made her a promise. ..

Her mouth, dropped further as she sees the house.

"What is it you do Mr.Pierce?"She asks stunned.

My heart ached inside at her question.
What is it you do Pierce?

"Our family owned a chain of bank's across the country."

"Past tense why? "She asked.

How do I tell her it's the same story that caused her to lose her memory?
I really would rather not get into that.I am the calmest I've been in a week.
