I tried my best to get Empress to come back home with me , I called her phone almost 20 times and texted her 30. I should've told her the truth from the start . I just didn't know how .
Something inside me felt like she wasn't safe at her own home . I started to get in my car and drive off when my phone started to ring . I looked at the caller ID and it said "Empress😘💕" I answered with the speed of lighting
(PHONE CONVO)
Lucas-" Empress ! Please talk to me , are you okay?? What haven't you answered my calls ?!"
Empress -" can you.. Come . Get me .. Now please ? , her voice was faint , so I know something was wrong .
I hung up the phone , grabbed my car keys and left the house , I jumped in my car and sped off to Empress house . When I got there the door was already open , I looked around and saw her on the couch watching the news , her eyes was red like she had been crying for hours 
Lucas-" what's wrong , what's the matter "
Without a word she pointed to the TV
" LIVE FROM BEVERLY HILLS WE HAVE DISCOVERED A NEW STORY LATE THIS AFTERNOON TODAY, APPARENTLY LOCAL RESIDENTS HAVE FOUND THE BODY OF A WOMAN BEHIND A DUMPSTER HERE IN BEVERLY HILLS , INVESTIGATORS HAVE IDENTIFIED THE BODY AS KAREN JONES , WE WILL HAVE MORE ON THIS STORY TONIGHT , THANK YOU"
Empress-" That's my mom Lucas "
Lucas -" what!!? Are you serious !? . Empress ... I .. I'm so sorry
Empress -" I don't know what the fuck to do! My mothers dead.. My bestfriend .. My mommy " she put her head down and cried . I grabbed her and held her in my arms and let her cry on my chest . Who could anyone have done this?
Lucas-" go pack up the rest of your things Empress, your staying with me from now on . I want you to pack everything in your room, come on I'll help you"
Empress-" okay "
We packed up all her things , and boy did she have a lot of shit, more Jay's than me! We packed all her stuff in silence . She stopped in her tracks when she found a photo .
Lucas-" what's that? "
Empress -" look"
She handed me the picture and I looked at it . It was Empress as a younger girl and her mother holding her laughing . Her mother was so beautiful , light brown curly hair , white teeth and a nice light complexion .
We finished packing the rest of her things and loaded it into my car . The whole ride back to The house was silent . I reached my hand over and grabbed hers , she held on tight and looked out the window . I got her from now on . Nobody gonna hurt her .
Empress POV
My whole entire world has just crashed right in front of me . My mother is really gone? Something doesn't seem right . One thing my mother always told me was to never cry if anything happens to her . She told me this because i knew she would be right with me watching over me in heaven every step I took . The thought of that made me smile , my mother wasn't dead . She just began her new life in the sky's above . I thought about all the good and funny memories me and her had together and I burst out laughing right in the car .
Lucas -" uhh.. You good ?"
Empress -" yeah I'm fine , just thinking about all the laughs me and my mother shared , she always told me never to cry if something happened to her , cause she'll always be right with me In spirit , so I feel kinda better knowing she's safe and not worried no more . "
Lucas -" that's right , and you don't have to worry about her not being safe around that Ace nigga , and you safe with me now . I promise you that Empress"
He kissed my hand and we decided to get some food really fast before we got back to the house. I think I'm INLOVE , fuck a "like"
