Red snow. It fell gracefully to the ground, covering every shadow the trees made.

Red snow. it wasn't like any other kind of snow I've ever seen.

Red snow. It was damp and warm to the touch.

Red snow. Why was it the shade of red that resembled blood?

Red snow. Trudging my way through the forest of never ending trees was mystifying.

I was warm, not cold.

The sun shined brightly and I was lying now in the bloody snow in one of the suns rays that escaped the death to a leaf on a tree.

Where was I?

In paradise?

No. This was no paradise.

This was a strange nightmare that I couldn't escape from.

Help. Someone. Anyone. Please.

A twig snapped behind my wolf body and I twisted my head to see what made the noise.

Sight was blurry.

A large white figure and a tall thin black one.

My eyes focused on the blurry figures till I saw the masked one and...me?

Am I back in my unconscious state where I meet my even side once more?

No. This was different.

"Hello my darling," said the masked figure, "Your time is now." he said as he grabbed the head of the other me and twisted its neck till a large snap echoed in my ears.

My other wolf body fell to the ground with a loud thump and I could feel the same pain in my neck but it wasn't as bad as the other me.

I am afraid.

I am afraid.

The figure walked up to my real wolf body as if he floated in air. I waited for the worst, keeping my horrified eyes on him.

I AM AFRAID!
