At the bottom was an elastic corridor that was supped up with the finest guns I had ever seen. Jeremy then began telling us that he knew what was going on and he had this built here for just this occasion. The first night was kind of tuff to deal with because we all were worried that they were soon going to jump through the hole at any moment, but after a couple days went by and nothing happened we started getting more comfortable. The place we were living in was wonderful. It had its own sound proof shooting range and food and drinks to last a lifetime. It was set up with some overpriced equipment that we stayed on 24/7 trying to locate the guys that were after us. Jeremy had cameras set up all around, so we caught everything that went on outside. We had been down here for a couple weeks, and we knew we were getting close to figuring out their whole operation when the girls came in to the room with me and Jeremy.
"We have some news for you guys," they kind of said quietly.
"What is it darling," I questioned.
They just rubbed their bellies and excitedly said," We have some new members to our family."
Jeremy popped a joke," we ain't the fathers."
We all just sort of laughed.
I jumped up and went and gave my girl a hug and whispered in her ear," I hope I am a good farther."
Jeremy heard me and told me," we are going to be wonderful parents."
The rest of the day was spent discussing all the little details of pregnancy and how we could not wait to be dads.
The next day we hit the mark and knew our location that we had to hit. A couple states away in Montana, the local army were thriving to kill us. They had the rest of the world on their side, and we were all alone, but we had one thing they did not. We had each other, therefore, we had something to fight for. We sat out on a Tuesday in order to go set up everything. We planned on getting in, setting the explosive, and getting out. We were halfway through Idaho when we had a strange encounter with a girl named Grace. Grace was a short brunette around five foot three and weighed a little over 100 pounds, and she seemed like she needed some help.
Help," she screamed," I really need some help."
When we heard this girl scream we ran over as fast as we could only to find her in a crater about the size of a hot tub but only ten feet deep. The only true trouble she was in was the type of snake in the bottom with her. It was a venomous pit viper.
She pleaded out," please help me."
"Have ya been bit," I questioned.
She replied with a no, but she said that she was really scared and that her leg hurt.
Shelby said," I got this."
She pulled out her throwing star then laced it with poison. Thunk! The star struck the snake's head pinning it to the ground. We quickly pulled her out, and then we asked her how she got down there. She said that her dog had run off, and she was looking for him when she just fell into the hole. She was different than our family. She had no real skills other than being pretty.
She asked," Where are ya 'll headed?"
We just sort of tried to shut down that topic, but she insisted. She just kept following us as we began walking.
She begged," I have a car I can help out."
Jeremy just laughed," we are too big to fit in some little car, we saved your life now be happy."
She stopped at once and pleaded one last time,
" Can I at least give ya'll something to eat for saving my life, my house is only a block away?"
Kayla finally gave in and said,
" Ok I'll go and my man will to and be happy." Shelby said," we are a family if one goes we all go."
She drug us back to her house where we were amazed to find out this girl was country. She had a jacked up four wheel drive z71 that was completely camouflaged. She had a shotgun in every corner of the house and even had Jeremy's favorite gun, a 300 magnum.
Jeremy with big eyes kind of scruffed out," I like this girl already."
She then smiled and insisted that she give us a ride and a shotgun. Well we filled her in on all the details on what we had been through, and where we were headed. She thought we were downright crazy, but she wanted to be a part of it, so we gave her a chance to prove herself. She was to fight Shelby. We told her to be careful not to hit her in the stomach, and
she told us," don't worry you will have to worry more about her face."
Shelby just laughed and said," One shot is all it's gonna take." They walked over to each other bare fisted and bumbed fist. Grace swung as hard as she could, but
Shelby caught her hand and gently muffled out," gonna have to do better than that."
Grace kicked at her leg but then swung around her elbow catching Shelby right on the temple. Shelby hit the ground, and she stayed there and started crying. Grace ran over to her side and cried out,"
I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt."
She was caught off guard with an elbow, and the force of the hit knocked her down. She sat there for a minute than just started laughing; everyone else joined in with her.
I told her," the whole point of this was to see if you would fight and you did, so I believe you will be able to help us out."
We loaded up the z71 with guns, girls, and ammo and then headed off on the rest of our trip. We had just hit an old dirt road that was going to take us into Montana when a dog ran out of nowhere, and the dog ran right under the truck. Bump! The dog yelped out, so I slammed on the brakes. I jumped out to find the dog under the truck laying there motionless. The girls kept asking,
" is it ok, please let it be ok."
"Here puppy, here puppy," I called to the dog.
The dog was brown with spots and looked to be a pit-bull. The dog could not have been much more than a couple months old. I just kept calling the dog when all of a sudden the dog sprung out on top of me.
