She went on to tell me about how when I wrecked the truck a piece of the steering wheel broke off and pierced me in my stomach on one side and then came out the other side. I had not felt any of this last night. I was always so worried about keeping them safe.
Shelby stated," They are going to let us go, they thought we were the ones who had blew up the national armory.
Everyone just kind of looked around. They gave their biggest apologies for causing all of this, and for us they are going to give us a couple million dollars to live on, and make sure we are supplied with a home and make sure we never have to worry."
She continued," The worst part is that they are going to pay for Jeremy to have a mechanical arm, he lost the whole thing clean up to the shoulder."
After a couple of weeks, the doctors allowed us to go out on our own.
The cops said,
"they would pay for a place anywhere in the country," Kayla assured, "so where do you want to go,"
Jeremy looked at me and smile.
"You thinking what I'm thinkin big man," I laughed out.
"Tennessee," He smiled as he said these words.
A year had passed and Jeremy and I both had our two baby boys, and a family. It was Grace, Judge, Jeremy, Shelby, his boy Remington, and then it was Kayla and I with our boy Cody. With these people in my life I had it all, and I was determined to make sure I kept these people in my life no matter what, because there was no replacing them and there was no living without them.
