Plot:
Lucien Castle wanted to get revenge against the Originals, he wanted to be powerful and he found a solution, he heard about Silas but he knew he was going to be trouble, later he found out that he was gone... but Silas older sister was still alive, only asleep, buried. Lucien decided to wake her up and made a deal with her; in recompense for wake her up, she would help him make himself more powerful, she would help him defeat the Originals after all Agatha was just as powerful as her brother... even more when she was angry.

Extra (To help you out):
Agatha has the same powers that Silas has. If it's Klaus the love interest then of course eventually both fall and she turns against Lucien but if the love interest is Lucien then he wouldn't die by Klaus, both either leave the town or both would win against the Originals.
