Aris's POV
Is it bad that I want children? Yeah, it definitely is. To get children.... I'd have to break so many rules. I am a bit difficult, but I never actually break rules. Obi Wan understands me pretty well, I'm really glad he's my master. Even if Forden and I are quite an interesting pair and padawans. It's nothing obi wan and quinlan can't handle. I will settle for a padawan, instead of my own children.
"Forden," I whisper," I think I hear something." I say.
"Yes, I always hear something. If you don't, I'm sure we could look into that." He says. I laugh.
"No! I mean I hear something unusual." I say. Just as I finish my sentence we hear blaster shots and running footsteps.
"Aris! Forden!" We hear Master Aayla Secura yell.
"Cad Bane?! But isn't he with the hutts?" I ask.
"I don't know but we can't let him get away!" She says.
"Uh.. We'll chase him!" I offer.
"I'll get master yoda!" She says. She runs to the right and we go left, following bane. We run out of the temple until we are in the dark alleys of Coruscant.
I can't see bane anywhere. I have this unsettling feeling, like I've overlooked something. I don't like this. What would Obi Wan do? Ugh! I don't know! Think Aris, think. As soon as I try though, a blaster shot collides with my shoulder, causing pain to shoot through my body. I scream in pain and clutch my shoulder.
"Where did that come from?!" I ask through clenched teeth.
"I don't know! Are you okay Aris?" He asks.
"No, but I will be once we find him!" I say.
"You go this way and I'll go that way!" He says. We split up in different directions. Another shot hits my shin. I scream as I fall to the ground, skinning my knees. I hear the soft click of a blaster at the back of my head. I'm in trouble. How did he get behind me?! I can't do anything, because I'm injured. I don't think about alternative ways of escape before he hits me over the head, causing me to black out.
"No!" I hear Forden scream. But that's the last thing there.
