— 6: 01 AM.
Someone opens the door. Hinata runs in with his arms out wide, screaming about how he wanted to "beat Kageyama's ass", followed by a muttering Kageyama. A chuckling Sugawara closes the door behind them, and leaves the keys on a bench. He calls to Hinata and Kageyama to get the volleyball equipment out ready for morning practice, and both comply, though a bit grumpy from fighting. Sugawara sits down on a bench and looks off into the distance.
There is a sudden shriek from the corner of the gym. Sugawara snaps out of his daze and gets up to see what had happened. Silence for a couple of minutes, until a screaming Hinata, a stumbling Sugawara and a scarred Kageyama tumble back into the gym. All look extremely discomforted, and Hinata scrambles to call the police. Kageyama soon stops him, and takes his phone to calmly call the other members. Sugawara paces around the gym with an extremely troubled look on his face, Hinata sits in a corner rocking from side to side, tears streaming down his face, and Kageyama waits by the door, and taps his foot. No clear shot of his face.
— 6: 18 am
The rest of the third years arrive. Yamaguchi and Tsukishima have not yet arrived. Daichi tries to calm down a stammering Sugawara, while Kageyama explains the situation to the rest of the members.
Tanaka shrieks and runs out of the gym, in the direction of the cupboard while Asahi joins Daichi to calm down Sugawara. Hinata is still sitting in the corner crying, and Kageyama is staring off into the distance. Soon, Nishinoya arrives followed suite by a screeching Tanaka, looking mentally scarred. He immediately runs to Asahi and clings to his side. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi are yet to arrive, and Kageyama uses Hinata's phone to dial them again.—6: 30 am
An annoyed Tsukishima walks in, and the rest of the members engulf him, screaming and crying. Kageyama stays to talk to Yamaguchi, who eventually starts shaking. Kageyama sits beside Hinata and pats his head awkwardly while Yamaguchi stands alone with tears streaming down his face. Tsukishima screams how "preposterous this was, and demanded to see if it wasn't a prank". He is led to the store cupboard by Nishinoya and Tanaka, who are stuttering and crying too. Sugawara is still crying, Daichi staring at the floor with a blank expression. Asahi hugs himself, while Hinata cuddles against Kageyama instinctively. Yamaguchi watches as an astonished Tsukishima walks back in. He demands to sit down, before stuttering.
"There's a corpse in the sports cupboard..."
CAMERA SWITCH. — 6: 34 am
Tanaka and Nishinoya force the store cupboard wide open. A body is slumped in between a mop and a bucket. Tanaka calls the other members, while Nishinoya tries to check for a pulse, and pushes the mop away. The body is shown to be a girl, in her 2nd year, blood staining her collar. Nishinoya holds her while the other members ran over, crowding around the body.
There was a hitch in the blouse, and the skirt was haltingly pulled up. Her neck has slender fingerprints pressed into it. They all immediately reach the conclusion she was strangled. They weren't sure what the source of the blood was, until they spotted knife wounds in her nape. They soon find the knife, but don't touch it until police authorities have came. Kageyama calls the police, and Yamaguchi ran to inform a teacher. The rest of the members were crying, rocking from side to side, or staring blankly at the floor. No evidence was found in this extract of footage.
+
Even on the first day, there are many suspects.
Let's look at Hinata. He said nothing, just sat there crying. So did Yamaguchi and Sugawara. Was that because they were guilty?
Tanaka and Nishinoya both immediately rushed to the scene. Why was that? To make sure that their work had no flaws and to hide anything in case? Remember, there wasn't any footage between 6:30 and 6:34.
What about Kageyama, Daichi, and Asahi? All were acting extremely calm, and numb in this incident. Was it guilt, or determination to not show anything?
How about Tsukishima. He and Yamaguchi came extremely late. Also, didn't he have a weird reaction to the "prank"? Isn't it also interesting how he called it a prank, even though people were acting the way they were?Comment down your ideas and theories. The members will also ask for ways to help uncover this mystery, so watch out for that!
