day 3

— 6:30 am.

Hinata returns to school, but neither Kageyama nor him speak as they enter the gym. Yamaguchi and Tsukishima are there already, engaging in deep conversation. Nishinoya arrives and calls for attention.

"Guys, I wanna do an investigation." He says, putting his hands on his hips. Hinata looks extremely discomforted.

"I think we should just leave it to the cops..."

"Bullshit! Come on, we gotta find something."

Kageyama and Tsukishima agrees, and Yamaguchi follows. Hinata decides to stay behind.

CAMERA SWITCH. — 6:33 am.

Nishinoya uses two hands to climb onto the top shelf while Kageyama and Yamaguchi searches between buckets and mops. Tsukishima moves elsewhere to check the volleyballs and sports equipment.

"Hey guys?" Yamaguchi hesitantly says. Kageyama looks over and asks what's up.

"I think... Nah, it's probably nothing." Yamaguchi hesitates then drops the subject.
There's a slight ruffle, and Kageyama's eyes widen.
"Yamaguchi, what's that?"

"H-Huh? Oh, just a jumper..."

Kageyama pulls the jumper out and examines it expertly. Nishinoya jumps down and watches as Kageyama smooths it down. When he touched a certain place, it stained his fingers with a red liquid.

"Blood?!" Nishinoya exclaims, snatching the jumper and pressing it down.

"But it's half dry." Kageyama sighed. "It's probably only wet because it was facing down."
Nishinoya grinned. "It's still a clue! Great job, Kageyama!"

Yamaguchi gets up and finds Tsukishima to inform him of the findings. Nishinoya sits down and talks excitedly to Kageyama.

Soon, Tsukishima arrives with Yamaguchi following suite. "A jumper stained with blood?" He sighs and looks away in annoyance. "It was probably the killer removing the girls jumper so he could get better wounds into the neck. No big deal."

"Guys..." Yamaguchi says quietly. The three boys look at him as he shuffles his feet.
"Why don't we... Look at the tag? If we find out who the girl is, couldn't we find her friends, class mates, and try to find any connections to the killer? J-Just an idea, of course." He finishes, laughing awkwardly.

Tsukishima creased his brow. "That's smart of you, Tadashi."

"Thanks, Tsukki!"

Nishinoya grinned and nodded. Kageyama turns the collar over and his eyes widen.
"What is it?"
"What is it, Kageyama?"
"Did you find anything? What's her name?"

"... It only says: Notice Me Senpai..." He said quietly. The boys peek at the tag themselves, and Nishinoya exclaims:

"It's a clue. The killer... gave us a clue."

Evidence: The tag was scribbled over and was written "Notice Me Senpai" in hesitant gel pen. It was written in capitals, so the hand writing is a bit hard to decipher, but it looks similar to a few of the member's.

(extra clue: it looks most like the people with a star next to their name.)

Wow, we're in the thick of things.
Also, try figure out what "notice me senpai" means. It's a big clue, and I applaud the person who gets the meaning spot on.
