The CCTV cameras were turned off between 5:09 and 5:15 am due to a technical difficulty. You may have missed a critical piece of evidence.

Kageyama and a police officer enter the gym. After talking to the other, Kageyama tells the police officer of the knife in the cupboard. "The girl had knife wounds in her nape... And we found the knife hidden in a bucket."

"Did you touch it?"

"None of us touched it, officer."

The officer nodded and disappeared for a moment before appearing with more rounds of men. They all headed towards the sports cupboard, and Kageyama sat down, shaking slightly.

Tsukishima and Yamaguchi arrive, joining Kageyama at the bench. None of them speak as they wait for the officers to come back. Yamaguchi tries to make a conversation, but neither Kageyama or Tsukishima jump at the starter. They wait for a couple of seconds, until the officer came back in with a confused look on his face.

"Kageyama-kun, you mentioned a knife?..."

— 6:15 am

The police investigation is still underway. Sugawara, Daichi, Nishinoya, Tanaka and Asahi arrive, looking shaken. Sugawara refuses to speak as he sits down on a far bench, leaning his hand on his fists. Daichi sits down next to him and Asahi joins the first years on the bench. Nishinoya sits in a corner holding himself with Tanaka. Kageyama calls Hinata, who still hasn't arrived.

"Guys." Tsukishima says suddenly. Everyone flinched at the sudden noise. Tsukishima creased his brow.
"The... The k-knife. It went missing."

Sugawara shoots his head up immediately.
"What do you mean, it went missing?"

Tsukishima flinched and shrugged. "The officers found a little pool of blood in the bucket. They're assuming that the blood underneath the knife remained wet, and that's why it's still palpable."

He lifted his head and looked around. "Only we knew about the murder. No other club knows that someone was killed. So that means... It was one of us."

Tanaka and Nishinoya froze.

"W-Who would do that though?" Yamaguchi stammered, looking terrified.

Tsukishima glanced at the floor, and sighed. "I don't know. But all I know is that someone took the knife and hid it somewhere this morning, and that they were probably trying to hide any evidence that it was them."

All the members looked across to each other with terrified faces.

— 12:03 am.

The members meet in the gym. All are present except Hinata.
"Tsukki." Tanaka said in a forced voice. "You said that the knife went missing this morning. How do you know that someone couldn't have snuck into school?"

Tsukishima shook his head. "No, the blood was still wet. It means that it was taken really, and I mean, really, recently."

"So if we find the knife, will we get to find out who killed that girl?" Kageyama said bluntly, and Daichi sighed.

"It's not as simple as that. The murderer could have disintegrated it, or washed all the evidence away in the little time they had."

"That's rich coming from you. You could be the murderer." Nishinoya said suddenly, and the gym went silent.

Evidence: the person who got rid of the knife was on school grounds before 5:15 am.
