Bruce Banner: The Teacher

AN: made this just because I thought Bruce should have some love as well.;)

Today was the day that I finally got my externship. I have been waiting for this moment for the longest time but now I didn't have to wait anymore. I finally graduated university and majored in high school English. The only thing to do now is my externship and gain the experince to become a teacher. I woke earlier than usual to get ready and prepare my self for the day. As I woke up i made my bed and cleaned around the room making sure everything was in its place. I then entered the bathroom to do my normal hygiene routine. Picking an outfit was not hars since I had already layed it out. I did my make up and hair as simple as possible knowing that it would be a stressful day.

I grabbed all of my belongings and got in my car enjoying the drive that was calming dowmy nerves just a little bit. After a fifteen minute drive I finally pulled up at the high school. I entered and old memories came back and made me smile. The lady at the front desk was very kind and complemented on my wardrobe which was a nice start to the day. She shwed me where the trachers lounge was , the restroom and finally the classroom I would be in. To my luck the teacher was there and was as nice as the lady at thw front desk. I recieved my teacher badge along with the class schedule that followed the routines. The teacher's name was Ana Smith and she escorted me to the teachers lounge to grab a cup of coffee before we started the day. "Trust me you will need it. When the bell rings you'll feel tired already." , she says as she pours some coffee in our cups, grabbing along a cinnamon bagel. Across the lounge there was a man not to tall and had beautiful dark hair and was reading a book. He seemed rather fascinated in the book and already had his class set and ready. "The guy that you have been starring at for the last couple seconds is Dr. Bruce Banner. He isn't very engaging with the other teachers and he has been here for years. I doubt he'll even look at you, let alone have a decent conversation." Ana says interrupting my thoughts. "Well, he seems like a nice guy. Maybe someone needs to be the one to initiate the conversation. I'll meet you later." I say as I pour coffee into another cup and grab two donuts. Well Y/N looks like you will be msking the first move. Here goes nothing. I enter the classroom and see that he hasn't seen me yet. I let out a little cough to grab his attention and speak up ," Hi I'm Y/N , I saw you across the hall and thought you would like some coffee." , I say as I out stretch the cup so he would retrieve it. He outstretched his arm and said a silent thank you as he took a sip of it. We stood there in silence until he spoke up and asked,"So what are you teaching in?" "Well technically I'm not teaching I am just  gaining the experience and hopefully within a year I will be and English teacher. What about you?" I ask trying not to sound so intruding. "I'm a science teacher. I am the head of the AP science division at this school and in my free time I tutor my students. Whether it is chemistry or biology, I try and help them as much as I can." , he said sounding like the true professional that he is. "Yeah science wasn't my strongest subject when I was in school. Maybe you could tutor me a bit? Who knows maybe I'll have an interest in science." , I say trying to be slighly flirty but not going over the top. Bruce looked at me for a second then after a while he finally said with confidence bursting,"Well technically we are supposed to help our students as a priority but, I could give you some private tutoring. We could meey up at the coffee shop thats a block away from the school." I really couldn't believe that the Doctor Bruce Banner was indeed flirting with me and that he asked me on a date. Ana said he wasn't able to even look at someone for more than ten seconds with out being flustered. I kindly smiled at him and said,"that sounds like a great idea Bruce, I'll meet you there after school" I say as I start walking away as the studenta were arriving. Bruce had a big grin on his face amd said "alright all see you later Y/N. "I waved goodbye and was interuped by a student that said," alright Dr.Banner, get some!!!" and all the students started to repeat as well. Bruce was blushing like a tomato and told them to settle down. 

After school came and I meet him at the coffee shop where we talked for what seemed hours and agreed to do it a second time. Who know that Banner had the guts to ask me out. And that is how I meet the love of my life and now 3 year husband Bruce Banner.
