Today is the day four years ago that it happened. The day Josh's entire world was turned upside down. The day the love of his live passed on to the better place. Josh thought there was no better place for Tyler than in his arms. (That just hit my really heard when i wrote that. Im probably gonna cry writing this.)"
*Flashback* Four years ago is when the cancer got the best. It had taken all the strength Tyler had left. Josh could see how much pain he was truly in, even when he thought he was hiding it. Josh longed for the days before Tyler was diagnosed.
The long walks through the gardens, were the only thing that kept Tyler sane as he slowly faded away. Josh lived to see the smile that always bloomed upon Tyler's face when they were together. And the smile that shined brighter than the sun. In his eyes Tyler was perfect. Like a rose. He was delicate and beautiful.
Josh was in the room when it all happened. It was a Sunday, Josh was pushing Tyler through the hospital garden when he had a coughing fit. The back of Tyler's hand was covered in blood. Josh panicked and rushed Tyler back to his hospital room yelling for a nurse.
Josh sat in the chair in the corner as the nurses and doctors were trying to help Tyler breath. After 10 minutes they finally stabilized him. Josh got up from the chair wiping his tears as he leaned next to Tyler's bed. Josh gently caressed Tyler's cheek as his eyes fluttered open. Josh smiled as the tears filled his eyes but didn't fall.
Tyler reached forward holding tightly onto Josh's hand. Josh squeezed Tyler's hand back. Tears stared to fill Tyler's eyes as he looked at Josh. Tyler let out a shaky breath as he whispered one of his last words. "I love you Josh."
(I'm fucking sobbing) Josh knew what was happening and he didn't want it to be true. Josh gripped Tyler's hand pulling him forward and kissed him deeply as he said the last words tyler would ever hear. "I love you too."
Tyler's grip on Josh's hand loosened as the monitor began to make the dreadful silencing beep he never wanted to hear. Josh broke down. Josh gripped tightly onto the front of Tyler's hospital gown and buried his face in it. Taking in the scent of his Tyler his love. He let the sobs rack through his body as he sobbed uncontrollably into the now damp fabric.
*Present time* (Start song)
Josh sits in his backyard as he clips the hedges around the garden. Ever since Tyler died Josh has been spending hours outside tending to his garden. It was more like a memorial for Tyler.
Josh had dozens of bushes surrounding his yard all neatly trimmed. He also had dozens upon dozens of roses. Roses were always Tyler's favorite. In the center of the back yard was Tyler's stone. The stone read, in loving memory of the lovely husband, Tyler Robert Joseph. A pretty white rose. Surrounding Tyler's stone were bushes of pure white roses.

Strung throughout all the bushes were hundreds of pictures, going back to the day they first met and past the day they got married. It was a monument of his love to Tyler.
Not a single day went by that Josh didn't think about Tyler. He missed him and wanted to join him up in heaven where he belonged. But he needed to live for Tyler. He knew the time would come on its own. The day he could leave this place he called home and go to his true home, Tyler.
*1 year later*
Josh hasn't been doing the best lately. He still tries to keep the garden in good shape. But it doesn't take long till he is worn out and must sit back down.
Josh just finished trimming the roses around Tyler's stone. He was extremely worn out, more than usual. Josh went to rest in his chair in the living room. Josh soon fell into a sleep that he never woke up from. Josh died in his sleep of a heart attack.
When Josh opened his eyes all he saw was light. The light he hoped to see again someday. The light of his world, Tyler. Josh gets up and runs to Tyler picking him up and kissing him on the lips. They separated as silent tears streamed down their faces.
"I missed you so much," Josh mumbles as he squeezes Tyler tight. "I missed you too."
"You'll never have to again because I'm here to stay with you forever," Josh whispers as he catches Tyler's lips in another kiss.
And thats what happened Tyler stayed with Josh forever. The pretty white rose and his gardner.
Not sure if I like the last sentence but whatever. That beginning had me sobbing for real tho.
